This site is literally an encyclopedia of knowledge... Which is wonderful, but overwhelming at the same time.. In looking over the tons of product on the market, Im having a hard time narrowing things down. Based on what I read I thought Id go with the 510. I want something similar in size to the normal cig (I know, dont make a purchase based on that) however thats what is ingrained into my brain right now. I was on the totally wicked site and noticed they had what was called a Super E Cig.. Im looking to mainly get my feet wet with this endeavor before I spend a ton with this stuff. I guess what I need to know is what Im looking at... is it all that I need? Also do anyone have any 1st hand knowledge of this particular product... here is whats in my cart as of right now...

e cig Super White 10cm Starter Kit

Refillable Electronic Cigarette Cartridges - Super 10cm

30ML Totally Wicked- Patriot Range E.Liquid

Is this a start? Do I need anything else? Thx for any info !!!

i know what you are looking at, and i honestly cannot recommend it. It is a similar model to something i started with...but much cheaper i must say.
A lot of people here will be able to suggest a much better cigarette sized e-cig i am sure-
personally, the batteries lasting 1-2 hours to me is a buzzkill.

Edit:wanted to add, you will spend much less on the endeavor if you pick a good kit at start, even if its initial price is a wee bit more. Most awesome starter kits with enough oomph for beginners should run in the area of 40ish bucks IMO.

Another Edit:Also, if you are bound to Totally Wicked as a vendor, their titan might be the better choice for you

The products that you have listed should be fine to start out with although I would recommend getting a variety of samples of liquid in different flavors/strengths so you can find out what you prefer rather than buying a large bottle right away.

On the other hand that's not necessarily going to be the most satisfying setup and its going to be hard to move to different equipment as that e-cig uses an older/not as popular threading. my suggestion if you want something that looks like a cig take a look at the smokelessimage volt, it is known as a very good performer and will fit your size requirement, a bit more money but still probably less than a week worth of cigs. you can view the smokless image starter kits here - Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Starter Kits

I also wanna add, Totally Wicked juices are damned pricey.

and i understand where you are coming from Sharpshooter,
the tornado tank was my first real venture into vaping..
TW's site is nice and easy to navigate, but their prices on some things are pretty high.
right now they have that sale going on, and i mentioned the titan because it does have the 510 threading,
but the batteries will still not last long in terms of vaping, depending on how much you vape.
Right now at Liberty flights you can get a joye 510(same model as the titan, just relabeled at TW)for 35-36 bucks for the same starter kit.

Also, i have heard decent things about liberty flights juice, but havent tried it.

The Super White is the RN4081 or nJoy. I personally like the atty but the rest is crap.
As a newby, I'd buy something in the 510 model: the Riva, eGo or something with a long battery life. The 510 is easier to buy parts and extras for.
Unless you decide to get into dripping, I'd go with Cartomizers or the CE2 instead of carts: just a personal opinion but loading carts can be a pain.
A passthrough or something in that line would be a good idea.
A little more liquid probably wouldn't be a bad idea but go for the samplers until you find you favorite flavors.
After you get a little bit of stock built up, go here:

I would not suggest automatic batteries. Been there, done that, blew both in less than 2 months.
Sure they resemble a real cig, but you need particualr care or a little owerflow of liquid from the atomizer to the battery bring it to die inexpectly.
If you like to start with a mini, i'd suggest a 510 with manual batteries.
Here in italy 510-T with tank system are quite appreciated by new vapers.
Hope this help.

The kit you have selected is pretty good for getting started and seeing if you like vaping, but you will probably find that you will want to upgrade inside of a month, probably by the end of the first week.

Chaning and charging batteries several times a day gets annoying fast. You will also want to have more than one atomizer, and for starting out I would suggest cartomizers, they are less messy and more convenient when on the go.

I would not buy 30 mils of juice, you don't know if you will like the flavor, I would get a variety of smaller bottles, and as mentioned TW juices are very pricey but you will want one or two small bottles to arrive with your kit. I would order some juice samples from other vendors when you determine if vaping is for you or not.

I first started out with a white cigarette looking E-Cig but it just didn't work for me,it was from Fuma. Then I went to a Joye 510 pen style. It fit the bill but I got tired of all the time spent charging it everyday, like 10-12 times a day.Two weeks later I went to a Riva and I have not looked back since I got it.My next step is a Provari as I want to get into the VV.

Yeah, they're correct above ... that's a RN4081 kit, not the 510 you said you wanted. If you're open to connector types, you may want to consider a kr808D-1 too.

Here's an interesting, and fairly recent, thread discussing two popular cig-sized units:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...olt-vs-bloog-first-time-buer-newbie-here.html

Please make sure you get at least 2 batteries in your kit, charger, enough cartridges and/or juice to refill.

Thx Pyre... I dont wanna get to complicated right out of the shoot.. I think Im gonna go thru the vendor list an see what kind of deal I can find on a 510 starter kit... But it seems that each site has a different way of listing things, which creates alot more confusion for me... Why cant they make it easier for me to spend my money LOL

lol, i understand that sentiment exactly,
that is one thing TW IS quite good at, making it easy to spend your money.
With a little research and patience though, you can find yourself a good starter package on the cheap.
Thankfully, you came here to the ECF, its something i wish i knew of when i first started.

edit:
i think a lot of us are excited to start this whole new fangled cyber cigarette of the future thing when we first think to do it, and patience is hard to have, but trust me, research and patience pays off.

+1 Uncle Willie and the others.

OP, I started with a KR808D1, and it did a great job getting me off cigarettes (I wasn't even trying to quit ha), but the battery left me running back and forth between chargers. The unit itself was great, the battery life I couldn't deal with. I eventually upgraded to the Riva 510 as well and I get MORE than a full day of charge out of it. I picked my kit up for $36 or $38 something using the discount code at Liberty-Flights. The shipping was fast as well.

I know you're trying to stay with the traditional cigarette form factor, but the downside is the 2 hour battery life associated with those. I had mine 3 weeks before I was ready to upgrade. I wish I would have just gone with the Riva right away, but hard lesson learned.

Good luck with your journey. You'll find your own way. The more research you do - the more money you'll save in the long run I think.

As others have mentioned, I'd go with the RIVA 510 kit from Liberty Flights .. use the 20% discount link at the top of the page .. I graduated from an NJOY cig look a like unit to the 510 and it was a substantial upgrade ..
I agree, the 510 kit from Liberty-flights is the best and I have ordered 4 of them for friends and all work great. Also the 510 threads in the Ego fits the most popular 510 attys and cartomizers.

Hi, Didn't take time to review the sites you posted. I have been vaping since March. I started with a small kit, KR808's. I thought they were great. I was constantly, charging the batteries and filling the cartamizers, carrying my juice and extra batteries everywhere!! Not really a problem since I thought it was all great! Then I found this guy posted below. He sells the Echos and Echo -E. These are absolutely fantastic. The batteries stay charged for at least a full day, the cartridges hold about 2.5 - 3 mil of juice, having only to top them off each evening or maybe once in the afternoon and then again before bed. To fill the carts at the beginning, they take approximately 100 drops. Seems like a pain? NOT!! Once you get it going, maybe 20 to 30 drops a day to top off. My favorite is the smaller manual one, Echo-E 650. You should check out this link, he does not have a confusing web site, you send him a PM to order and you'll have your kit in a few days. He has the best prices around here and the best E-Cig!! Downside...he doesn't have the juice!! Maybe someday!!

I think it's the best deal going right now .. as well, yesterday it looked like LF had restocked liquid, which they were out of and the shipping is a flat $2.99 ..
