I second or third or fourth don't recommend the cig size vapes. I started with a Blu last week and it was a big dissapointment, little vapor, limited flavors, battery was always dieing. The automatic batteries would go off in the case in my purse, so they'd be close to dead when i needed the fresh one anyway. I really like the 510 (mega)manual, I got it with carts and they are sort of a pain though, I'm going to roll over to cartomizers in a bit, just ordered some. Just my 2 cents from a newb that wanted a cig look-alike !

That's what happened to me, too WP. Now I'm one of them.. *shaking head*

I didn't understand why before. I started with the KR808D1 - and everyone suggested "Riva or Ego". Now I know why. Everyone is in the business saving you money based off their experience.

The more research and reviews you read, the closer you'll be to making the right decision for you.

Cheers.

In browsing around over on liberty flights I see the Joye 510-T - Starter Kit... its 5 dollars more than the Joye 510 - Standard Bundle, and comes with 5 blank tank carts, where the standard comes with 5 tobacco carts... Does that mean I would still need to get some e-liquid... I would think the starter kit comes ready to go, but Im thinking thats not the case, also is there a significant difference in the 2 ?

I believe you'll find that liquid is not included in any kit .. at least none that I have seen ..

Either option will require you to buy juice (e-liquid), but you don't have to buy that from liberty flights, or you can, and pay shipping once. It seems like there are millions of different types, from Pizza and General Tso's to Gingerbread and Key Lime Pie, beverage flavors, bakery, CHOCOLATE, everything edible is practically covered. There's a list of vendors around here somewhere:

Scroll down to hairballs post for a list of quite a few.

The JOYE 510 - T is like a mini tank model of the eGo. What's different is the way the fluid is feed to the atomizer. The tank system is newer and claims more vapor.

Both the 510 and 510 - T come with 180mAh. The trade off for the smaller form factor is that you're going to constantly be worrying about charging batteries if you vape exclusively. My first battery was a 180mAH and it lasted about 2 hours before I needed to recharge. I upgraded 3 weeks later to a Riva - it's actually the same price you're about to pay for the Joye 510, maybe a little cheaper, and the battery literally lasts ALL DAY. If you're not worried about it looking like a cigarette, then I'd highly recommend the Riva. If the cigarette shape is too important to give up, then this Joye 510 might be your winner.

EDIT: I visited the site to double check, it indicates that 5 x Tobacco Carts come with the standard 510, and 5 x Blank Carts come with T model. Maybe the tobacco carts are prefilled? I've never bought this model so I'm not sure.

myxomatosis... your awesome dude... I'm really thinking the 1st ecig needs to be really close to visually looking similar to a traditional smoke.. Just something in my head i guess, a mental block I cant seem to surpass at this time.. but who is to say after I give this a whirl and can successfully ween away from real smokes that I wouldn't be opposed to another type of ecig. I think Im gonna spring for the 510 or 510 T starting out.. I just need to narrow it down as to where Ill purchase it from... Liberty Flights confuses the $**t out of me lol, and it seems that none of the sites are calling them the same thing... Any suggestions as to where I can snag the best deal at.
