My name's Ric, and I've been smoking analogs for close to 40 years now. I've tried numerous times to quit, but I just enjoy the process of taking a puff and getting nicotine too much to succeed at it. Maybe this will be the catalyst that actually gets me off of analogs.

I must say the stickies in this section are very informative. No where was I able to find the difference between a manual and automatic battery, until I read it in the sticky.

While I've got a "Free Trial Package" coming my way, I've got a feeling the rest of the sales pitch will fall on deaf ears as I apply the things I learn here.

Welcome aboard, Ric! I was a 40-year smoker, too, and have been amazed at how easy it has been to put the cigs down. And the same story is repeated thousands of times here.

You'll find the general consensus for the 2 most popular options for beginners to be a 510 or a KR808D-1. I went with the latter, and it has worked great for me - I really like the convenience of the 2-piece design. And as you'll see, there are also many other choices out there. Whatever you decide, I hope you find the same success that so many others here have. Best of luck!

Welcome to the vaping world !

Lots of information to digest in this forum. I suggest you read read, and do more reading.

I started out with a 801...then went to 901 , then 510...to me, the 510 beats the other two..but each has their own preference.

Try lots of sample or small sizes of eliquid..until you find a few you really really like. I thought i would enjoy tobacco flavorings...i don't....then i thought i would like chocolatey flavors..i dont.

The classifieds here have a good volume of supplies as well..definately worth checking out.

Good luck..and enjoy the vape.

Nice Basset. We got ours from BellyRubs a couple years ago.

Oh lovelyyyyyyyy...I have 3 bassets from Bellyrubs. 2 are fosters...one , My melvin, is mine. They are a great rescue group. I recently had another foster that just was adopted..i miss her.

Melvin, my bad boy..loves Potatoes...he usually can be seen running around the house with one hanging from his mouth. He thinks he is the king.

I got in on 2 of the free trials before I discovered this forum. The fine print says free trial offer...not free forever.

One was for 15 days and the other was for 30 days. Then they both charged my card for close to $100. and then added on another $59. each month for additional cartridges.

I sent back the trials (with delivery confirmation) and got my account credited eventually.

I use 510's from cignot.com and rockymountainvapor.com

DSE 905 from Madvapes.com

901 from goodprophets.com

AND ECF for everything else I might want to know!

Vape on!!!!

Yea it does. I've been doing it for err em, I don't remember anymore. A decade or so.

My wife doesn't do the volunteer work but she is worse than me. Can't go anywhere with her.:D She doesn't need to find out about the foster thing, we would be covered up!

Both of the cats living with us now were heading to the pound. I brought one home, she the other. They just seem to find us.

Sophie, the older cat, was a pound cat my wife brought home with her when visiting the pound looking for her roommate's dog. Jimi, the younger, was a stray my wife rescued from beneath a holly bush. Then my wife found belly rubs and was browsing the dogs online for days before we finally made the trip. We brought 2 home with us, but came to the decision that in our tiny condo with 2 cats, 1 is all we could keep.

haha...i certainly know about all of that !

One of my bassets has claimed the recliner..you have to shove her out of it.

I hate the audience when i eat...i try to get them all to go outside, but they know why and usually want to hang around.

One of my dogs, the older one, gets to sleep in the bed with me, she's really good about knowing where her little spot is, and doesnt move from it. Melvin, on the otherhand..thinks he should be there too and occasionally gets to sleep there, but he's all over the dang bed....
