now I really, really enjoy a good pipe tobacco. (I know, heresy.) But they taste and smell so much better now when they're an occasional indulgence instead of a regular thing.

Oooooh... hand't thought about that.
Have to fire up a short pipe this weekend just to see - am more of a winter time pipe smoker.

Boy that thing looks stupid on my VV3 and I have to use it on passthrough because it sucks the battery.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Ok I have to go do that now just to see what it looks like.

Figured that will keep me until the Provari 3.0 comes out, right?

I think you'll like the ProVari, but like you am looking forward to v3.0.

Edit: And now.. on a Friday afternoon, your handle is making me crave a Molson Ice :)

quite a story happy for ya. I dropped my daughter off at her grandparents house one day on the way home I had 2 cigs left but instead of buying more I went to the vape shop. The vape shop here sucks lol. Spent 50 bucks and left of course ive upgraded since lol. But After I smoked those last 2 cigs later that evening I havent touched an analog since. Already starting to feel better.

I like your style man, I started similarly, a friend showed up with a cheap ego clone from a gas station. I visited the local vape shop and started out with an innokin vv3. From there I rapidly acquired an MVP2, a nemesis mod, a vamo v5 and a rainbow spinner just because I liked the look. Toppers include a couple of Kayfun clones, an aerotank, many iClears of various sorts, a number of EVODs a couple of mini-protanks and some other stuff.

Have you started mixing your own juices yet? My first couple of attempts aren't bad but they aren't great either, I still have a lot to learn.

I've managed to avoid buying a provari as yet but I have just put myself on an 8 week waiting list for a custom turned wooden mod :)

Heh, I love Blackpool and that was a shock after no cigarettes. Although I have some Devil Dogs calling my name when it's had a chance to steep for a bit. It's a heavy English blend style from Ahlusion with a lot of Latakia in it. Smells wonderful. At least to a pipe smoker. To anyone else it would smell like, well, dirty sweat socks. It is Latakia after all.

I'm not liking the waiting! Although I may put aside my KFL until it gets here. It just draws on that battery so heavily and I would like to keep my VV3 alive. The 3.0, well, I do wonder what ProVape has up their sleeve. They were the ones who started DC mods, so ...

Haven't found a beer yet, but I have found a couple of decent wines. VV's In Vino Veritas is a nice white, albeit a little chewy. And right now I have Ahlusion's Ole! in my KFL. It's a very light, southern Baja style sangria. Lots of fruit and floral notes to it.

Wonder how hard it would be to make a beer vape? It wouldn't be that different from 'making love in a canoe' American style beer.

Not yet, but it's on my short list of things to do.
Have gone off many of the flavors I liked at first.

Mmmmm, Latakia :)

The 3.0, well, I do wonder what ProVape has up their sleeve.

Hopefully VW and a post 1980's menuing system.
I like it a lot, but VV just doesn't cut it for me personally.

Haven't found a beer yet

Oh I meant to drink :toast:
The sangria style vape sounds nice though.

Returning from my first trip to the UK after 22 days I couldn't stand to drink American beer again... for awhile.

This thread makes me feel much better. I thought I was a little nuts for having promoted myself over just a couple of weeks from the double-eGo style starter kit to a couple of Vision Spinner 2s, Pro Tank 2s w/the airflow valves, a Nautilus (which is a dog, for reasons discussed elsewhere on here-hope they get that sorted soon) and an E-LVT box. Looks like I've not overdone it after all by comparison :)

I prefer to call it "continuing the journey" - others just say I'm crazy obsessed :)
Kinda like my classically trained French cooking, there's always a new and better pan you simply must have or new method to learn.
You buy a set of AllClad Copper Core and then you discover Staub and Mauviel... sheesh.

Nah, mate, you're quite tame compared to some round here :D

The title to this thread describes me perfectly :) Started with basic e cig from an online supplier. Saw real quick this wasn't what I wanted and knew analogs will continue. After some basic ego batts and bcc clearomizers I knew I wanted more. Next step was a MVP with a nautilus tank. Much better but still chasing the dream so I ordered a Provari today. All this over a 30 day period so as you can tell when I get into something I jump in with both feet.

Nice progression! Seems there is always something next.

Forgot to mention initially I tried a crappy USB cigalike from <gasp> the mall for a few days 5 or 6 years ago.
That didn't last and I went right back to analogs due to the lack of, well, everything.

Glad I got started properly this time :)

Welcome, and that's one hell of a accomplishment saving 10-20 a day!

And that's at ~$2.50/pack RYO.
I can't imagine what it would be if I was still buying commercial stuff.

I thought vaping was going to save me money but dang, I seem to spend 150-300 every days off(14 on 7 off) just expanding a collection and trying new things.

Yeah, I thought so too
Once we settle in some more and don't have to have every new thing we see it should get better. I hope !

Thanks. 3 ProVari huh? Now I want another one!!

Yup. Ordered a brushed SS w/ red LED first. Then I just had to have a polished SS w/ blue LED. And finally, a satin black w/ green LED. As far as looks and feel go, it is a toss up between the black and brushed. I probably favor the black over the brushed more though. The polished always feels so clammy in my hand but it still gets some love. :D

I've got to look into the Evic Supreme, have heard good things about them.

Here's a good thread about the eVic Supreme. Kind of long at 11 pages (40 posts per page) but convinced me that I just had to have this mod. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/551316-evic-supreme.html

1 week later there were 2 MVPs, 2 VV3s and a vast assortment of tanks and juices in my house.
1 week later my ProVari and Russian 91% arrived along with a ton of other vapemail including 100ml of Boba's.
Oh you really don't want to know how much I've spent...

Darn it Jake, I warned you what would happen if you came here. In fact, I think my exact words were:

You started it :p
BTW looks like I've got the Boba / Gambit mix down perfectly now.
Also took me forever but finally figured out you had a Protovapor.

Looking for an rba, for a dripper, can't beat the Magma for flavor or vape potential

Yeah I almost bought a hana clone, but decided last second to get a VaporShark.
Thanks for the heads up on the Magma may try to find one today.
LOVE my Russian !

Well ya coulda asked me what it was. ;)

Unfortunately they (like most other makers of unique, somewhat high-end mods) have a back-log.

That was my first DNA mod too. But not my last. :D

Did I not mention that I would do my research before pestering you (again) ? :)
It didn't dawn on me until after seeing the CelluCotton picture what it was.

:D
Very excited to get mine Tuesday.
