Hi guys and gals,
been creepin around the forums for a few days..just registered today.
I'm pretty exited ta try this e-cig stuff out (ordered the EVO from innovapor), been smoking about 10 years now and I feel absolutely awful about it, but I cant seem to muster the will power to quit...I'm all talk-no walk when it comes down to quitting so I really hope this helps me satisfy my inner and oral fixation.

If I do like this e-cig stuff, I can see there is going to be one problem :( I work as a pipe welder for (ADM) Archer Daniels Midland in Decatur Illinois in the Glycols department which will produce propylene glycol when we are finished with construction. That should be quite tempting right, FREE PG! - YOUR FIRED! lol

Anyway I just stopped in too say HI!

Welcome to the Forum.

Your EVO is interchangeable with the M401 e-cig. The thing you should know is there are two types of auto batteries. One has a vacuum switch that activates when you suck on it, and shuts down when you stop. The EVO has a sound activated switch. The mini microphone inside senses the sound of the air rushing past it to activate the battery.

There are some issues with the sound activated batteries. They will activate from noise, such as loud music, wind, and loud noises in industrial areas. Just keep an eye on them if you're in a noisy area. If they start to glow when you get into a noisy area, it's best to unscrew the atomizer so it doesn't burn up.

Thanks for the tips Jim, sounds like I will most definitely need a manual batt as well.

Not necessarily a manual. There are autos that are activated by vacuum. Sound doesn't affect them.

The Auto batteries are nice, but juice can run into the vacuum switch and gum up the works.

The manuals are sealed, and don't have the flooding problem, but life can be a bit shorter if you tend to hold the button longer to heat up the atty.

Opinions vary on which one is best.

It's your call. Whatever you prefer.
