New guy to forum, as well as vaping

Figured I would pop in and introduce myself.
I have been an on and off smoker for the past 17 years or so. I recently stumbled onto vaping after buying a mistic from walmart and weaning off regular smokes. Its been over a month!

I bit the bullet and ordered an Ego T and some e liquid. With the hopes of weaning down to zero nicotine.

Does anyone recommend a west coast vendor? It seems that all the vendors are in the midwest or east coast. I have ordered from a few of them so far and have no complaints. But shipping time through usps bugs me. It would be nice to order and have it delivered the next day. Especially when I am running low on fluid. I am up in the PNW.

I have ordered from Liberty Flights (their hardware), they are on the west coast (CA) as well as Virgin Vapor (juice and hardware provider) also in CA.

Vaping is a daunting habit to get into. Between the terminalogy and the equipment. Its a bit more complicated than asking for a pack of camel 99's and a pack of matches.
After buying a bottle of liquid and refilling the mistic carts, I am sold. $9 for almost two weeks of use! Its hard to argue against that.

Welcome to ECF! The price is right isn't it? I have a friend who spends $17 per month vs the $175 he used to spend! Of course, if you start going hog wild buying mods and juice sample packs like I have then you may not realize any savings for....a while

I have realized that I am hitting the vaporizer way more than I used to smoke. Due mainly to the fact that the carts I have are a lower nic dose and also because I can vape indoors. The mistic I am currently using is not very satisfying. I do not get a buzz in the mornings like I used to. My morning headaches also go away gradually, opposed to instantly.
I have noticed that there seems to be something missing. I am guessing its my brain telling me that my blood oximetry is too high, and my carbon monoxide levels have dropped too low

Between buying the set up, fluids, carts, etc. I would imagine that I have broken even so far. But its a win due to the way my lungs now feel.

It's fairly common for new vapers to vape like crazy; there are a lot of threads on that. Partly it's the novelty, partly it's finding the right juice flavor, partly it's finding the right nicotine level, and partly it's because WE CAN! Personally, I think it's because we no longer have to take 5 or 6 minutes to get all of our nicotine for an hour - we can space it out far more evenly since we can take a puff here and a puff there on our devices.

Agreed. I didn't know where (or think to check where) either were located. It wasn't until I ordered from them and was watching the USPS tracking info that I saw where it was coming from. I only remembered because I'm originally from CA.

and I am out of juice, out of carts, and going on the seventh day since I placed the order. usps is slowww...

I was hoping not to have to buy another $14 package of cartos from wally world.
I even tried looking up the local head shop/tobacco shops for e liquid availability. Unfortunatly the vaporizer supplies they sell, are not compatible with what I want to do with it.
