Using njoy batts x 2 refilling carts ) Not really happy with this unit, shutoff at 7 secs to soon for me and don't really like the concept of the carts, thinking im going to be a dripper mostly.
waiting for cash to be able to upgrade to better pv.
currently vaping 5&5 supposedly dekang from Madvapes.
First impressions of this juice were not good!
Couldn't place the scent or flavor at first but ended up settling on used rodent bedding.
gettin used to it as it's all i have other than 36 mg unflavored.
To mix it up i'm mixing the 36 mg with equal parts strawberry/watermelon Mio to make 1.8 and it vapes ok (with no throat hit), but tastes freaking great.

Just FYI

The most popular slim mini 2-piece is KR808D-1
Vapor4Life has a 10-second cutoff
Bloogplanet, SmokelessImage and Halocigs G6 - I assume they all have the 5-second cutoff of SmokelessImage

KR808D-1 is hotter (3.7v for the Vapor4Life, 3.6 for the others). The Vapor4Life WOW cartos are very hot - I doubt you could vape 36mg on them (some can't vape 24mg on them). And most need to use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece. the Bloogplanet cartos deliver the vapor a bit cooler (coil is at the bottom instead of the top) but seem to give a bigger easier drag and use liquid up faster because of that (nice drag though). Right now I am using a Bloogplanet carto on both Vapor4Life and (one) SmokelessImage batteries

But if you are a very heavy vaper, you might as well skip slim ecigs and go to fat battery models or mods. In the cat battery models I recommend Liberty-Flights.com, pres the 20% off upper left front page, then look at Riva 510 - the Riva 510 kits there are 3.7v. (many fat battery models are 3.4v). And buy blank Boge cartomizers (most prefer the 2 ohm on fat batteries, the 3 ohm is warm enough for me). And buy a 510 drip tip.

Unflavored - you using PG or VG? VG dulls throat hit. With PG less nicotine is needed to get the same TH.

Xio: was a pack or more, full flavor. i cut it to 1.8, im more concerned about vaping the malic acid in the mio.. not sure about long term effects as of yet XD
908: there is no other way to describe it once i recognized the odor it killed that juice for me. even cutting it in half didn't help at all. Will be in fridge ill use it for emergencies or people i don't like lol.
CCNP: the GLV3 looks mighty cool, ill be looking into that one for home use ty.
Dormouse: had to get a pen for your post, i think ill try the riva510 as the batt life is a big concern for me. Ill give it a go with the 2 ohm boges as i like the idea of cartos, simple and neat

I started with a revolver gemini 510 and standard tobacco juices from revolver and quickly decided to nix the standard nic juice for fruit flavors like watermelon and strawberry. Quickly got sick of all that and went to creating my own at gourmet vapors and bought a first generation pro-vape that is still going strong (utilize drip-tips and the batteries just keep going). I personally think some of the non-standard e-cig models (hybrids) are in the end more reliable and end up being cheaper in the long haul.

You can check locally & see if there is a Bakery supply close to you & get some Lorann's oils used for candy making ...it's highly concentrated so be aware ...I mix loanns flavors @ 10-15 % .
pretty yummy stuff dram bottles are 'bout $1.40

walmart has them in craft area sometimes & pharmacy's also use it to flavor liquid meds for kids,if you just ask the pharm tech,they will usually sell it to ya .

after many weeks of frustration in trying to keep batts charged and carts filled, i moved on to the joyetech ego C.. I'm very pleased with this unit. i have been using 3&5 from madvapes at 24 mg.. yum. too bad about dekang not selling the liters anymore.. 50 ml gone now

back to the pv tho..
the revised 650 mah batteries are wonderful, i love the charge indicator. at over 50% batt life the button glows white/ 10-40% sky blue, and below 10% straight blue. with low volt shutoff short shutoff and over charge protection, basically they are idiot proof.
It does leak a bit at times, but a bit of tissue takes care of that when refilling. . the carts are a bit small for my liking, and the unit seems to EAT juice, but puts out some pretty good vapor. Not as warm as i'd hoped but acceptable nonetheless. as far as i can tell mine is genuine, as it is branded right down to the laser etched atomizer, but there are many knock offs already available. got mine from myfreedomsmokes.com for 75 bucks. i think its up to 80 now. the price seems to rise every few days possibly due to the fact the joyetech has only distributed to a few of its suppliers in limited quantities.

Don't use any oil based flavorings as they are not considered safe to vape.

Here is a cheat sheet for Lorann flavorings. There are also other flavoring companies that carry flavorings that are safe to add to nic liquid. The Perfumer's Apprentice sells many, many flavorings safe to vape.

i mixed theraputic grade peppermint with dekang 3 and 5 24 mg from madvapes..
utter enjoyment. fractional cost

Paraffinoma note
There is a type of pneumonia caused by inhaling oils that no doubt causes some reluctance to vape oil-based flavors. It is called Lipid Pneumonia or 'Paraffinoma'.

However, this is caused, as far as I am aware, from inhaling mineral oils such as paraffin (kerosene) and possibly vegetable oils that are chemically very similar such as castor oil (which is so similar to mineral oils it's used as engine lube). This medical condition is the occupational disease of fire-eaters, as they breathe in paraffin fumes all the time. It is more commonly seen among the elderly or infants who take paraffin or similar over a long period of time for constipation, and breathe the fumes.

As far as I am aware there is no risk of paraffinoma from inhaling 'essential' oils, as there are apparently no cases on record, with a long history of inhalation of plant oils for various purposes such as application to body areas adjacent to the mouth/nose, and aromatherapy. The term 'lipid' in lipid pneumonia refers, apparently, to the resulting obstruction in the lungs that consists of fats (lipids) as well as infection. There are no lipids in the oils.

Please note this opinion is that of a layman after research of online materials. For a medical opinion you would need to speak with a bronchial consultant physician with experience of lipid pneumonia cases (which are rare).​
