Just started vaping a couple weeks ago but I did a large amount of research before I started dropping money on products. I really have to say that I am VERY glad I went with the Halo Triton. I started with their starter Triton kit with 2-400 batteries but in a matter of days I knew I needed to step it up to be 100% happy. Not that the batteries were bad or didn't last as they did for almost the full day on just 1, but I know myself and I would of upgraded later anyways. Long story short, I requested a RMA for the starter kit to ship it back and I ordered a 650 and a VV with some smoke colored tanks and more Tribeca. Building my own kit seemed like a better bet for me as I saved some cash over just keeping the 400 batteries and ordering the VV

I am waiting on the new gear to arrive and the RMA to be sent to me but in the mean while I am enjoying every last moment with my starter kit. I am happy to say I am smoke free over a week and enjoying the vaping life. I plan on sticking with Halo and hope that they start to offer more product for me to try out. By the way...as you all most likely know..Tribeca is AWESOME!!!!

Halo, thank you for building a great product that has helped a 20 year smoker finally quit for good! :toast:

. Triton's got some great juices. Haven't found one I truly can't stand yet.

I agree...I have tried 8 so far and not one was bad. I have a couple from other vendors that either need to steep longer or they just need help in general. Halo has some great juice that just gets better everyday

Welcome. Did you get a whole new starter kit at 650? Cool. I like how the 650 balances in my hand, right around the fire button. I also have some VV, and they are long. The balance is different. I like the VV, don't get me wrong. but it requires a new way to hold it.

I hope you also popped for another usb charger thingy, cause you really don't want your vaping existence depending on one little devise. I keep one at home, and one in my laptop case.

Extra tanks for me was a must. I knew I'd need more, and ordered 2 along with my Triton kit. Then I got 3 more. I have to change flavors through the day. Funny, I survived with one flavor of analogs for years, but now I couldn't think of just one. Malibu, Torque, Prime, a little voodoo, (sshhhh a competitor's) makes me clam happy.

You should get a bottom banner. You can change it later, but click on one you like, and it'll take you through setting it up. It's cool to see such easy progress. It feels like I just started, it still feels novel, new and a bit naughty, yet I can't remember where I bought my last pac of winstons.

Enjoy, drink lots of water, do put it down occasionally, be prepared for taste bud revolutions pro and con.

We are so Halon.

The first starter kit I got from Halo had 2 400 batteries in it. Then I starting to piece a kit together by myself online and since I wanted a 650 for out and about and a VV for home it made sense to by them piece by piece. I don't get the nice travel case but thats ok as I saved some money and got the items I really wanted.

I can make it through my work day and the ride home on a 400 battery so the 650 should be plenty for out and about and the VV will be for tinkering at home so I think this setup should work fine...until I find something else to spend money on :vapor:

Welcome to the Halon Nation!

We have a great time here. The greybeards over on the main site probably just shake their heads and pretend they don't see this... We like to have fun, but then again when questions are raised the answers will be found.

Welcome and congrats on quitting! Good to see you went with the VV...once you experience that, it's hard going back to regular batteries (although I still kept mine as emergency back up...the 400s fit in my jeans' coin pocket!). It's great to be able to dial in your flavor, but just as important, IMO, is the fact that the voltage on the VV does not drastically drop off as you vape...you can still get giant hits right up until the time it needs a recharge.

Welcome OoRenneroO, I'm new too and I have the VV battery......you are going to love it. And be careful when you get the USB charger make sure you get the one for the Triton not the G6. The triton tanks are best but for sampling I use the cheaper mini tanks for the G6 they work on the Triton too. How awesome is that!!

And come back tomorrow for the last day of the contest. You might win some free Halo gear or juice!!!!!!! Or you could just enjoy this crazy hilarious bunch.

And for your initiation you should read the whole 12 days of Christmas thread................just kidding.

I got 4 triton tanks, 4 g6 mini and some carts for samples, that's on top of about 90ml of different juice, batteries, charges etc. for some reason it doesn't seem like enough LOL. Oh man I am going to have to stop being so spendy soon but all new hobbies are exciting, mostly ones that are actually benefiting my health and keeping me off those nasty analogs

Naa, there is no chance of that!!!

I heard through the grapevine that when you order, in the comments, you can request replacement black top drip tips for the big tanks for a buck, if this rumor is true. Cause, you will break one.

Okay you do that but I just want to clear something up first. If you read the whole 12 days thread you'd know I've had one slight mistaken identity problem. So are you a girl or a boy, because I can't tell?

I'm a good girl btw.
