I know this should be in the Halo forum, but new member and haven't made 5 posts yet, I apologize. I have been using a Halo Triton since October 2013 with no issues whatsoever, love it! I bought a new Triton kit in November for my husband, which he hasn't used and decided to go his own route with vaporizers.

When I started using the new kit the other day, one of the tanks started leaking on to the battery. This was not overfilled, top is sealed tight, silicone condom is in place, and coil is screwed in snugly. It wasn't the coil because I put the juice and coil into one of my old tanks and things are fine. I put some water in the tank below the top of the post and let it sit for a while and sure enough it appears to be leaking inside the post. The post is also leaning compared with the other tanks.

I am also having an issue with one of the 650 batteries that came with the kit. It is only lasting 2 hours. I typically get a full day out of one battery, so something is definitely wrong here.

Any ideas here other than attempt to contact Halo CS? My issue is that it was purchased more than 30 days ago, in November and not used until February, so I'm not sure if I could do a return/replace or not. Thanks!

Contact Halo CS first. I think they'll replace the battery. Possibly the tank.

No, let me correct that, First WELCOME!!!! And good for you to choose and use a Halo Triton!!!

Next is Halo CS. Be patient, it takes a bit of time, but they usually will make it right.

(In the meantime, why not order another battery. A 900 or a 1300 is nice, or the VV is really good. And a few more tanks?)

OK, If Halo can't replace the tank, you can try to fix it. It's leaking now, so what do you have to lose? One of my tanks had a crooked center post. I put the coil head on so I had something to grab and a screwdriver at the bottom. I didn't twist any more than maybe 1/8th turn either way with the driver, and I straightened it. I think the bottom slotted button is just pressed in with a grommet. Maybe, just maybe, your manipulation might get the seal of the grommet to work. The risk is making it leak more (oh, well, you tried) or messing up the connectivity electrically (where the coil doesn't get the bat power.) You wouldn't be losing out.

And if it still leaks, save this tank for dry burning coils. (The dry burn smells up a tank)

Post a few more times, and join us in the Halo section.

And you are now a Halon!!!
