Hey everyone. New and just want to get started before i lose my nerves. this is what i have come up with.
1. myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

2. vapedojo.com/products/kanger-evod-starter-kit

3. hurricanevapor.com/hardware/bundle/premium-plus-bundle.html

Which of these , or any others would you choose and why?

you will need to place the w w w . in front of the links because i can't post links yet.

ive only used the ego ctwist. i fully support it as gateway gear. its been great to me so far (1 month)

if you choose to go with bundle #1 consider getting a vision spinner 1300mah as one of the batteries. i dont personally have any experience with them but heard good things

take my advice with the initial disclaimer above ^

welcome to ecf happy vaping

edit: i have the same kanger t3 tank and it's been working fine

All are doable. It depends on what you're coming from? #1 is the cheapest because it's fixed voltage. The others are variable voltage and would give you the most flexibility in "fine-tuning" your vape.

There's literally a thousand options out there.

And why would you lose your nerve over buying vaping gear? As long as it keeps you off tobacco it'll be the best investment you could make.

hello and welcome to ECF and welcome to vaping :)

the myvape store looks nice....but you can get better quality (like glass/metal tanks and vv egos for the same price) and cheaper if you are willing to shop from china and wait about a month on shipping :) fasttech.com (the "walmart" of vaping....sells mostly knockoffs but some authentic at dirt cheap)

I would suggest a variable voltage spinner, a metal vivi nova (top coil) and a glass protank style (bottom coil) tanks

Some things to keep in mind:
  • Try to stick to pv's (personal vapors) that have both the 510 and ego connections this way you have all kinds of options when it comes to juice delivery systems.
  • Variable Voltage (vv) = everyone's taste is different so you can set your voltage up or down to help suit your needs as well as different juices and different juice delivery systems (cartomizers, tanks, ect) taste different at different voltages. (how many times can I say different)
  • Variable Wattage (vw) I haven't tried yet but assuming it is the same principle as stated above for vv.
  • Pass-through battery to be able to vape while charging.
  • the higher the mAh the longer the battery life
  • do you prefer a warm vape (top coil) or a cool vape (bottom coil)? top coil vs bottom coil tanks, to each their own...but go with glass or metal so that there's no worries about tank cracking juices.

I'll throw in a vote for the Evod kit... that's what I started with. they are super easy, replacement coils are easy to change and cheap. And now I still use it, mostly for when I go out, it's small and easy to pocket. For the price you can get them for it's not a bad starter. Then get yourself a spinner for your first upgrade. They do make a difference with your juices especially after puffing the kanger tanks. Good luck!!

In my opinion a good starting point would be the iTaste VV V3 (express kit) and a Smok GBC, while they are not the best things on the planet they are great for new vapers. The iTaste is great because its compact, has variable voltage/wattage, an ohm checker, and can work as a pass-thru. The Smok GBC may be plastic but it holds a decent amount of juice and when used with a slotted thread collar has good airflow compared to a protank in my opinion.
