Hi all...My name is Tom and I'm a new vaper and new to these forums. So hi everybody!

I have only been off the stinky sticks for about a month or so, started out with a V2 e-cig and quickly realized that I wanted something more. So I bought an Innokin T-22 and just got it today and so far I like it. The vapor production is a lot better than the V2 and flavor is nice. One question though, I I got some replacement coils with it and there was a coil in the kit too. They look like they are tubes of some sort...I don't know, I didn't open one yet. Just wondering if you replace that whole tube when you change the coil? It's all new to me so I am trying to learn and whatnot.

The other thing is that I am visually impaired and I picked the T-22 because it is easy to use and easy to fill. I'm not sure if I would be able to see the displays on some of the adjustable mods out there so this is a good starter for me. I might try getting an adjustable mod here later, probably not for a while though, and see if I can use it or not. But for now, this one seems to be working fine.

Glad to be here and look forward to learning!

You're just going to unscrew this from the tank and screw a new one in. Simple as that.

Make sure you let it set for a few minutes before vaping after you replace the coil to ensure the wick is fully primed.

Well, if you want the best out of each flavor, they say you should.

However for me personally, I'm too picky to stick with one flavor for very long and like changing things up frequently, but I can't keep track of what coil had what flavor in it. So if I want to switch to a flavor that's similar to what I currently have in, I run the tank empty, then dry burn the coil a few times before filling it with something new.

I also have 13 different tanks in my rotation each with a different flavor, lol.

Many have multiple tanks. I change several times a day. I just gets used to a flavor after a couple hours and look for something different.

Also, check YouTube for videos on your components, how to, and reviews. Also, most every piece of hardware has a "thread" on here. At one time there were few pieces of hardware, but now since there is so much, everything seems to have its own thread. A lot to read on here, too.

Very glad you have found a way to get off the stinkies. Your sense of smell and sense of taste will slowly come back to much better than before. Taste buds and nasal passages get burnt from smoking.

Don't forget to get spares, and, spares for the spares. I kept a spare setup in my car. No excuses to want to stop for a cig because of running out of juice or breaking something.

Since my eyes are rather bad, I have stronger reader glasses that I use. Many do. Often, the settings on a mod don't change once you set them for the tank you have on top.

Good vapes!

Yeah, I got several flavors and only have one tank, I see they do sell these Prism tanks for the T22 by themselves so I might pick up another one or two. Don't think I need 13 though...lol

Thanks for the advice, yeah, I am totally off the stinkies, I don't even have any left and don't plan to buy them. I have been watching youtube videos constantly trying to figure out what I should get. One of the vape channels recommended Innokin and said they were good for beginners and I thought I'd get a fixed mod so I wouldn't have to adjust anything, at least not right away. And like I said, with my vision I'm not sure I can use the mods with screens.

Welcome.

Anybody who ditches V2 and buys something better and much, much cheaper gets my vote. Good choice.
(REALLY good choice)

yes, you swap out the whole coil 'tube' to change the atomizer.
Thanks....I found that V2 was overpriced and underperforming. I was only on those for about a month. I knew at some point I wanted to get a better setup and be able to use multiple juice flavors (better than what V2 has). Right now I'm on Cosmic Fog Kryptonite, seems pretty good.

Well I can understand not wanting to throw stuff away....lol And I guess you gotta have different tanks so it doesn't get boring, after all, you don't want to get bored and decide to go back to death sticks.

The coil in the prism tank are 1.5 ohm and that seems pretty good for me right now. Not sure if I want to get into sub-ohm but we'll see.

Congrats on not smoking cigs. Sounds like to me you are doing good keep it simple to start then after you have something's worked out then go into more advanced products. I would buy a few more tanks and possible a few different ohm coils to see if you like one better then the other.
Thanks, I plan to do that to have some backups.

The bottom ring unscrews and the tube (coil) just pulls out. Inert the new one, lining up the flat sides and replace the ring snugly. If there's juice in it and you're holding it drip-tip down, the juice will run out. If it's not too full you can lay it on it's side while you're replacing the coil. Make sure to let it sit for 10 minutes before using. If your flavors are similar, you can just pour the new in when it's almost empty. They mix a little, but I do this all the time.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Yeah, I had some Kryptonite in it and refilled it last night with an orange flavor and I haven't noticed any of the previous flavor coming through, just the orange. And they are similar flavors.
