New here and confused about batteries

So I've been vaping for a month and a half roughly. I have an Evic vt which came with an ego mega one tank (that I despise), but I've been using the Herakles plus. My charge on my evic vt lasts about 9-12 hours but I've read it's supposed to last allot longer.

Lately, I've been using a .4 kanthal coil with the Herakles plus and I prefer about 40-45 watts which I'm guessing is why my battery drains so quickly. I'm looking to buy a new mod soon but I'm super confused about the battery ratings and the mAh. I'd like to purchase something that won't run out of power. I'm torn on what to get but had one of these in mind: Wismec roulleaux rx 200, sigelei 150 with tc, kbox 120.

I totally don't understand which would be best for battery life. Can someone please advise? -tia

I have both mods but not the kanger 120 but you will get reasonable battery life with each depending on what you use. Personally I have used my segelei 150 more than any device I have regulated box ,unregulated, mech, the segelei is my go to with two Samsung 25r's I vape quite a lot and only switch batteries before bed every night. Also my segelei is the only regulated box besides my snow wolf 200w that I haven't had a single issue with.

Thank you for your response. I've heard allot of good things about Sigelei and I've been leaning toward it. Do you personally think it would be a good fit for high wattage vaping in terms of battery life? I'd say I'm at least a moderate vaper. I'm so frustrated with this evic vt because I can't vape while it's charging I guess because of the power needed for the wattage I prefer.

Well I use around .15 ohm coils, vape a lot and usually keep it between 80w and 120w depending on the coil I use in my rda. And it will last a full day at least. My recommendation would be get four batteries something like the Samsung 25r 2500mah and just keep a set charged and ready to go when they run out. Mark them though so that you don't mix them up. that's bad news bears.

That is excellent news to hear! I can't wait until I'm able to upgrade!

That's got 5000mah of capacity (the more mah, the longer it lasts) so I don't think you're going to beat that unless you get something where you can put your own batteries in it. I was thinking of getting a 100w istick and putting two 3100mah batteries in it for 6200 total. But I don't need that many watts for my setups lol.

That's got 5000mah of capacity (the more mah, the longer it lasts) so I don't think you're going to beat that unless you get something where you can put your own batteries in it. I was thinking of getting a 100w istick and putting two 3100mah batteries in it for 6200 total. But I don't need that many watts for my setups lol.

I was told the more mah doesn't exactly mean you get more power, it depends how much you vape and how long your draws are? As they have the batteries in grade from A-F, and depending how many watts you will be pushing while vaping? Like 40-60w i was told the LG-HG2 are great because the wattage level's you will be vaping at from 40-60 with 5-10 sec draws.

But i mean battery comes down to how much you vape from chaining to 1-2 hits per hour?

Not saying your wrong but thats what i heard. And i would also love some good info if what i was told is wrong.

From a safety standpoint whats important is your batteries continuous amp rating with regards to how high a power level you can safely vape at.

battery life depends on maH ratings and how you vape...
a car with a big gas tank driven calmy ( operated by grandma) will go further than the same car driven by a teenage guy racing down the roads

Go with the Reuleaux RX200 and LG HG2 batteries. I bought the mod at vapenw for $40 and 6 batteries from Orbtronic for $45. If you don't have a 4-bay charger, you can get an i4 on eBay for $15. The mod is smaller than the Siggie 150, about the same weight, and I've vaped 3 tanks full-- 9ml-- at 60 watts in TC mode on SS coils without needing to swap batteries yet.

Thank you for the links and your response. Since my evic vt has a 5000 mAh capacity, does that mean that a mod that takes 2-3 18650 batteries would likely have more capacity? I looked at the formulas on one of the links but my head is beginning to spin. I'd hate to get another new mod only to figure out that the charge lasts the same amount of time as the evic. And I almost wonder if one of the battery cells in my evic is weak or something.

Calmly = lower power/volts
Racing = higher power/volts

I love the fact that the Reuleaux has a ss setting bc my Herakles plus takes ss coils. When I have been able to run TC on my evic the battery tends to last longer. I go through about 3-4 3ml tanks a day, so I wonder how the batteries would hold out in wattage mode as well.

Just because your car will run 120 mph does not mean you have to drive it that fast. Gas aka battery charge lasts longer at slower speeds/watts.

2 battery mods will take 18650 cells that have approximately the same mAh as your eVic VT (assuming the 18650 cell is 2500mAh. There are 18650 batteries/cells (20A CDR ) that do have 3000mAh each.

If the mod uses 3-18650 cells (assuming you are using the same 2500mAh cell) will have 7500 mAh.

Keep in mind, when you are using 18650 cells/batteries you will need to purchase a charger and 2x the number of cells used in the mod. 1 set to vape with while the other set is charging. Even if the mod has a usb that you can use to charge, a freestanding charger is recommended (over using the usb to charge).
