Hi all. I've been vaping on and off since 2009 but started getting really serious about it last September. I was a pack and a half a day Kool smoker but I picked up an iStick and Nautilus mini and have been smoke free ever since.
In the past few months though I have accumulated quite a large collection of Mods,RDA's and tanks. I prefer tanks for the simplicity and my most recent purchase was the entire original Delta line (16,19,23). I have had my eye on the Deltas for about a month and did quite a bit of research and saw nothing but positive reviews. I found a deal on both the tanks and coils for about half of what they usually go for so I picked up 4 tanks and 5 packs of the C3 Triple coils. I was extremely excited that I had possibly found the best tank out there and with the C3 rated to go up to 26 watts I thought it was going to be perfect. I was so very wrong.
My issue is I have loaded up two of the 19's and the 23 with the Triple Coils, let them sit for a few hours, started off at about 10 watts and slowly worked my way up. Well I have only been able to get to about 13.5 watts on all 3 of them before I start getting burnt hits. Even if I let them sit overnight and attempt to take a hit at anything higher than 15 it's burnt hit city on all three. I have one of the included C3 Dual Coils in the 16 and have had no issues at all with it at around 10 watts and it's putting out about twice the flavor and vapor of the Tri-Coils. Any idea what the problem could be? I've tried Max VG,70VG and 50VG all with the same results.
I was also curious if it was okay to use the Tri-Coils on an iStick? The Joyetech product page states that you need a minimum 20 AMP rated battery for them so I've just been using my rDNA 40 and IPV Mini so far.
Thanks to anyone who can offer me some help.
