New here, and loving it

I have frequented this forum for information and haven't participated yet.... until now. I'm currently enjoying the juices from Ahlusion based on the recommendations from experienced members here. I am vaping Boba Tea and Caramel Pear Black Tea and occasionally the Caramel Coffee. I should be receiving Smooth Criminal and Gold Rising today in the mail. I steeped the Boba tea and CPBT for a few days at least and they taste so much better than I had anticipated. I must say I was scared I was ordering juices that I was not yet ready for. I am unsure as to how long I should be steeping these juices. My understanding is that most new juices should have a least a few days or longer depending on the taste you want. If anyone has recommendations that would be great. I'm sure I could search this forum for some.

A friend of mine purchased the Aerotank Mini and the enclosed dual coil heads that come included have caught my eye and I was wondering if anyone knew if they were available to be purchased online yet.....I haven't found any with an initial lazy search. Anyways.....thanks for having me and I look forward to participating more!

Welcome to ECF!

Caramel Black Tea and the Smooth Criminal are very complex juices. For most people they are long steepers—6 weeks plus. However, there are a few people who are fans of them fresh.

Bobo Tea and Caramel Coffee are both good out of vape mail but will get better after a couple of weeks.

Gold Rising has a fermented honey element to it which some people love and others hate—not much middle ground. A lengthy steep tames the honey for some people, for others it doesn't. If Gold Rising isn't changing for the better for you after a couple of months swap it or give it away.

When you have five posts and the ECF server has reset you can ask more questions about Ahlusion juices in the Ahlusion thread, Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3'. The people there are very friendly and welcoming to newcomers.

Vaper Beast has the new replacement heads for the Aerotank Mini and Mega.

Welcome to you new hobby/lifestyle! ECF is the best!! You'll soon learn that while the advice and opinions here are a wonderful resource, ultimately, taste is subjective...steep or not...and for how long is the ETERNAL discussion/argument....it all comes down to your taste and preference (and patience). Best advice I have for you is try your new juice and if you don't like it, put it in a cool dark place and try it again in a couple weeks or so. Your taste changes and so does the juice....you'll probably find that many are better when revisited! :vapor: ;)
This should keep you busy (and broke if you're not careful!) for a while! ;)

Tried the Gold Rising out of the box, and definitely gonna let this one steep a while and see how it tastes. Im gonna have to stick to the suggestions on that list above

edit: however, the Vecchio Blend I requested for the sample is calling my name with that smell!

If you are a fan of Ahlusion's stop by their site this weekend. They have been running sales all this week, and today (and possibly tomorrow) it's 20% off. And if you have a feedback coupon (15% off) you can stack! Great way to start trying all of their wonderful flavors.:)

Thanks for the help and tips! I am a huge fan of RY4 like a lot of people. I have noticed the RY4 reviews and threads.

Gold Rising would definitely not be on my list of Ahlusion tobaccos to suggest without a warning about the fermented honey note. For a relatively new vaper I would recommend their Caramel Wildwood, Sweet Virginia, Just Criminal and Sahara tobaccos as well as the Smooth Criminal you already have.

Ahlusion doesn't do an RY4 as I expect Wlad feels as though there are more than enough out there from which to choose. The tobacco aficionados rated their favorite naturally extracted tobaccos (NETs), including RY4s, in the results for the 2nd NETTy Awards. There is also a huge NET thread in the E-Liquid forum where you can ask for suggestions.

If you want suggestions for non-tobacco Ahlusion juices just indicate what you like and don't like about the
ones you have tried in the Ahlusion thread and you will get some good suggestions.

About steeping, I googled some info on it and I found a few things to apparently speed up the process. Here are a few...

Hot water bath. Put your juice in a plastic bag so the labels don't get ruined. Hottest tap water in a bowl. Submerge. Shake every few minutes until water cools. Some people boil the water, I didn't really feel comfortable with that. Maybe fine idk? Some people even mentioned the microwave?

In the hot car. Keep out of sun, Maybe glove box. For the day.

Sit on top of Some kind of electronic that puts off heat. Cable box, etc. Shake when you think about it.

From what I read the heat helps bond the ingredients together. Maybe Some more seasoned vapors can explain more on why. Google Some of these things lots of info! Steeping helps ALOT!

I just received my purple package for my first order of H1N1 and CLS. I smoked both out of the box and they taste very good. I can't wait to let them steep for a week or two and see how they taste. I am curious about steeping with the cap off.....can I successfully steep with having the applicator tip attached with the small hole exposed? or should I have the bottle completely open with the applicator tip taken off as well? thanks everyone!

I am new to creating my own juice, so far its been a lot of trial and error. ( I have a bottle of bad juice, not sure how to dispose of it.) Steeping is a big problem for me, as I want to try my new creations right away. Anyone have a good place to get raw flavors/oils? I've tried a few places, but there is a lot of variation in flavors depending on the brands.
