Hey everyone,

Just introducing myself. I've been vaping on and off for a few months, recently restarting and committing this time around. I've had trouble sticking with it because I haven't been terribly impressed by any flavors, and generally found flavors to be muted often. I like MBV's Ecto Cooler, but 5-10 puffs in, the flavor is gone. I've been super impressed with Goodejuice's Full Throttle, the first tobacco I liked. Just put in an order from Vapor Chef of their line of Hitchhikers Guide tobacco flavors, which I am super excited about.

If anyone has any juice suggestions, I am all ears. I am more in the earthy tobacco / tea world than the fruit world, but as I mentioned, I loved the Ecto Cooler.

I'm running on eGo Twists with Viva Nova & Klanger T3 tanks. I love the Viva Novas, but the Klangers not so much. The Klangers seem to have a bubbly sound when drawing, which seems to produce more airy draws with less vapor. They are more difficult to clean and seem to hang on to prior juice flavors much more than the Viva Novas. Is this typical, or am I doing something wrong?

I'm looking into moving up to a nice VV mod and RBA world in the next couple weeks. Thinking about going for a VAMO V3, Kraken clone, and V5 clone dripper from slowtech. Sound like a decent step up from the eGo/Viva Nova world?

I've also contemplated experimenting with DIY juices in the future. I'm a huge tea dork, and would love to see what kind of flavors I can steep out of fresh tea leaves. I've read its possible, so it could be fun. I'm also a big beer brewing dork, so I have ingridents galore to try to extract flavors out of, different cara-malts, roasted barleys, wheat, etc. Anyone ever experiment with steeping fresh tea and grains in PG?

Cheers, looking forward to getting more into this community!

Welcome to ecf. Gratz on going analog free! I don't usually go for tobacco flavored juices, but I hear heather's heavenly vapes has good tobacco e-juice.

Thanks! I'll check them out when I work through the new Vapor Chef stuff.

How's good old Boise? I lived out there a couple years ago. Gotta say I miss it a little.

Hi zaphodbeebs! Welcome to the forums. Are there any local shops with tasting bars. I am a big fan of tasting before buying. There is a little extra cost but it doesn't take very many unvapeable internet buys to more than offset it.

There are a few in the Philly area that I need to get out to. When I first my eGo maybe a year ago, there was nothing around, but there is now. I'll have to hang out there and see what I like!

For a bottom coil tank with less gurgle, I recommend the Mini Protank 2. You can vape it nearly empty and not have a gurgle. At least, that's been my husbands experience. He came into vaping kicking and screaming with me, since once I started he felt guilty about having cigs around, plus spending the money on them. I guess he wasn't really kicking and screaming, but he never would have given it a try unless I completely switched. As he was reluctant to start with, and even still, and it still isn't something he truly enjoys, he needed as hassle free as possible. His set up of choice is the iTaste VV v3 and the Mini Protank 2 as the least hassle thing for him. He set the watts to taste on the VVv3 and hasn't touched the settings since. It doesn't matter that the resistance of Kanger coils varies from what they advertise, the device adjusts itself. The Mini Protank 2 can take any juice he puts in it without risk of cracking and he can vape it down to the last drop without the gurgle he despises.
