New here, decided today was the day!

Well after debating for quite some time about getting an e cig I finally went ahead and bought one. Ive had my horrible habit of smoking since I was 15 and mostly stopped once I turned 20 besides the cigs while drunk. But I managed to do this by switching that bad habit for chewing tabacco. Ive got sick of buying pack after pack and spending so much money, then trading that for buying can after can. I hate chewing but the nic in it was too much to try and stop cold turkey. This thing is awsome I can hit it when I get a slight craving and takes my mind off it. I like that I can use it in my house while I do homework and play video games. I even get a good buzz from the 18 mg 15ml menthol I bought. Im hoping this will be enough to take my mind off the cravings of chew and cigs so I can someday let go of nicotine all together!

I have one question though, I have researched as much as I could before purchasing this thing but I want to know if i made a good purchase. My local smoke shop had a pretty big selection but the more reasonably priced one was a iTaste VV/VW in alittle kit with a iClear16 cartomizer? I got the kit for 80.00 with a 15ml e juice and an extra cartomizer. It gives out pretty big clouds but im still playing with the settings to get it how I want it but overall it seems awsome!

Hi and welcome , you did fine for your first setup , that's a bit pricey but you got a good device. Stick around and do some research the first rule of vaping is have backups for your backup but you'll find out where to get much better prices on this forum.

A lot of people here on ECF have the itaste and love it. It's a great device for a beginner or a veteran as it's both VV and VW so you can not worry too much what resistance toppers you use. $80 is a reasonable price too, so rest easy, you got a good deal from a local B&M.

Good luck with quitting, you've made the first step, you'll have good days and bad days - secret is to plan for the bad days by having backups, extra heads for your clearo, extra clearos, extra battery charger, more juice and maybe even a higher nic juice just to help keep those cravings away.

Most of all, it's making that first step, which you have done, so kudos for that.

I have no idea about the iTaste kit. I'm sure someone will pop in and answer your question about the deal. But whatever comes of it, it is getting you off cigs and that is all that matters for now

I started with a very similar menthol liquid when i quit recently as well smm. I told myself i will just get the tobacco juices but am hooked on fruits and desserts and its my 3rd month cig free. You will have a great time experimenting with all the juices out there. Hope it helps you quit the analogs.
