Ive never found a flavor that tastes like the 27's, knowing that i wanted to quit why would i want to stick on a flavor of analogs? i got to the point that i was cool with fruity flavors and once i found a few i liked i stuck to them to get over the hump of smoking, once that was over i was happy with my ecig... also i love those tanks that came with that starter you bought, i get them through a shop in town and smoke them at home mostly.... good luck on vaping and welcome aboard

This is also a concern of mine. I still crave the taste of 27's and camel filters, but have been unsuccessful trying to find eliquid that comes close.. While I was transitioning, I was buying ecigs from 711 called greensmartliving, or something along those lines, and their regular tobacco flavor was really good. I also liked the regular flavor of the cig2O's. I wonder if theres a way to find out which flavor those use as all the straight tobacco flavors I've gotten online are pretty nasty.

Hey rdean. Welcome to ECF.
I'm sooooo jealous that you live near Johnson Creek!! I LOVE their juice.
I use a Kgo + Johnson Creek Red Oak Tennessee Cured @ 24 mg nicotine in a Smoketech 1.7 LR cartomizer. This combo of the 3.7 volt Kgo + 1.7 ohm cartomizer is very pocket friendly & produces a nice warm vaping experience.
Keep us informed when you get your setup.
BTW the Kgo battery arrives about 75% charged already. So just go ahead & give it a try straight out of the box. 5-clicks to turn it on/off.

I wouldn't put the kGo in my pants pocket if I were you simply because it's long and slender and, if you lean against something or just bend over too far, you may stress it to the point of bending/breaking (coat pocket is probably OK). Back pocket is definitely out...sit down once and you are very likely to bend/break it at the connector. Other than that, you should be good for taking it just about anywhere. As for plane trips, I would not take a filled tank because the air pressure change might cause it to leak...empty tanks, filled cartos, and jiuce bottles should be fine though.

First welcome to ecf, you eill find tons of help here. As far as tobacco flavors IMHO most are a wash. As for travel, in my car I turned my ashtray into a pv tray in my office (a UPS semi) I use the passenger cup holder and these ways work, but if I wasn't stuck in my ways I would buy a pv case. If you were referring to flying I don't fly so can't help there sorry.

No flying here, I am talking about throwing it my truck and it sitting out there in the cold while I am at work.

I am glad to hear a good review about them, they seemed the most idiot proof method.

What about filled clearomizers?

Hey rdean. Welcome to ECF.
I'm sooooo jealous that you live near Johnson Creek!! I LOVE their juice.

Don't be too jealous, I emailed them about buying directly and they cannot legally sell out of their warehouse and do not have a storefront. I have to buy their juice the same way you do despite them being 20 mins down the road.

My only concern now is how the whole setup/juice will do in the WI winters out in my truck.

That's a good idea.

I just got my unit a couple of minutes ago.

It is completely different then I expected! The throat hit is intense! The first full pull I took off it I actually almost coughed! The 18mg vanilla bean coffee flavor has a wonderful aftertaste!

Gotta go to work soon so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks again guys for all your help getting me to this point.

Alright fellers, update time. The KGO fits perfectly in the inside pocket of my carhartt.

Had a regular smoke on the way to work and vaped as well. Same story on my first break, already I was smoking 50% less smokes!

Lunch time I was sitting in my truck vaping and had another regular smoke. This time it tasted just like vaping but with a bad aftertaste. I have 3 packs of Marlboro 27's left and I am not sure I will be smoking them!

My only reservation was vaping on the way home, no way anybody who saw me was thinking it was just nicotine lol.

One last update guys, I took the ultimate test tonight.

The bars.

I went out with the boys tonight, went out a bit late and am home a bit early because of work and deer hunting, but I still got my hammered on. Went out on smoke breaks with my buddies, puffing on my KGo the whole time. No cravings for regular cigs, nothing. I was more than happy to stay with the KGO, and puffing on it inside was amazing!

I had two and half packs of marlboros in my truck, sold 2 packs to a buddy at the bar. Still have a half a pack left but as long as I don't run out of juice I won't need them either.

Thank you all soo soo much on all the advise. I recently got a $100 gift card from my health insurance company and I can't think of a better use than to spend it on vaping. This might be me finally quitting cigarettes, you don't know how much that means to me!

Congratuations! It's a wonderful feeling knowing that you are no longer chained to cigarettes and that they no longer have control over you.

I hate to even think about how much money I wasted on nicotine patches and gum. Those two things rarely work. They were a BIG FAIL for me, but there was nothing else available to help me try to stop smoking, so I continued to buy them.

I believe vaping has two huge benefits over the two "medically approved" nicotine delivery devices, the patch and gum:

1 - E-cigarettes allow you to continue the ritual of the hand-to-mouth behavior that is so ingrained into our personalities and brains. The smaller e-cigarettes also give you something "to hold" like a real cigarette. The patch and gum don't do that.

2 - E-cigarettes provide a substitute of warm vapor into our mouth, throat, and lungs that can come close to the sensation of smoke. The patch and gum don't do that.

For me, those two things were just as important for me to quit smoking as the replacement of nicotine via vaporized liquid. The patches or gum just couldn't cut it for me.

Is it any wonder why Big Pharmaceutical Company is lobbying for e-cigarettes to be outlawed? Because e-cigarettes work to get people off of cigarettes better than the product that they provide and could put their company out of business.

Instead of researching and developing improvements that they could provide with their own improved vaping devices, Big Pharmaceutical Company chooses to simply have current ones outlawed.

This was my experience to a tee a couple of months ago. Congrats! You picked a great setup, and it can only get better from here once you find your sweet spot in terms of gear and juices. I have four others on the vaping wagon now haha and my orders are getting bigger. I'm becoming 'that guy' :)
