Congratuations!

It's a wonderful feeling knowing that you are no longer chained to cigarettes and that they no longer have control over you.
I hate to even think about how much money I wasted on nicotine patches and gum. Those two things rarely work. They were a BIG FAIL for me, but there was nothing else available to help me try to stop smoking, so I continued to buy them.
I believe vaping has two huge benefits over the two "medically approved" nicotine delivery devices, the patch and gum:
1 - E-cigarettes allow you to continue the ritual of the hand-to-mouth behavior that is so ingrained into our personalities and brains. The smaller e-cigarettes also give you something "to hold" like a real cigarette. The patch and gum don't do that.
2 - E-cigarettes provide a substitute of warm vapor into our mouth, throat, and lungs that can come close to the sensation of smoke. The patch and gum don't do that.
For me, those two things were just as important for me to quit smoking as the replacement of nicotine via vaporized liquid. The patches or gum just couldn't cut it for me.
Is it any wonder why Big Pharmaceutical Company is lobbying for e-cigarettes to be outlawed? Because e-cigarettes work to get people off of cigarettes better than the product that they provide and could put their company out of business.
Instead of researching and developing improvements that they could provide with their own improved vaping devices, Big Pharmaceutical Company chooses to simply have current ones outlawed.
