New Here: Greetings!

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and give a little intro. Most of my friends call me Dragon Mama or Lung Ma, and I have been vaping for years. I hail from Missouri, and a whole slew of info can be found by visiting my profile page.

A little on my vaping history: I started out with those tiny little e-cigs that first came to the US from overseas. Back when the only E-cig most folks in the US had ever seen was an Njoy, and there was no such thing as a manual battery. I had an analog-style e-cig, and two Njoy Premium pen-style e-cigs. Yeah, I've been vaping that long. About a year after I started vaping, I learned about dripping direct onto the atomizer, and that was so much better than what I had been doing with the cartos. But it still wasn't enough. So I stuck with my analogs, and vaped indoors only, as a pale substitute, until a friend introduced me to his tank/carto system with manual battery. OMG It was like having a portable hookah, and I was in love. I simply HAD to have one for myself! <3 <3 <3

So that brings us to why I am here, mostly. I decided that I needed one of these manual battery, tank setups. Of course, at that time, I didn't even know what any of it was called, so research was difficult at first. But after finding this forum, and about two weeks of research, I finally found what I was looking for, and placed an order for what I thought would serve me best. It just came in the mail, so I can't give a review yet, but I am just happy to finally be on the road to a real vape, with a quality TH, good flavor, and visible vapor cloud!

I know some will want to know, so I bought the Kanger MT3 B/C Clearomizer, and the Innokin iClear16 eGo Clearomizer, and two Vision Spinner 1300mah batteries (with charger of course). But like I said, I haven't used them yet, so I can't really give any sort of opinion on either setup.

Mainly I joined here to be able to take part in the conversations that I have been using as a reference for the past two weeks. And I wanted to give a huge thanks to everyone here, for providing such a helpful resource for the vaping community; even those of us who never signed up for the forum.

But anyway, nice to formally meet everyone, and thanks for helping me find a great (hopefully) setup for my first "real" vaping system! :3

Oh, I almost forgot. I bought my kit, the " Spinner/Twist eGo VV Tank Combo" from MyVaporStore.com. It was $75.45 including priority shipping. I am pretty sure that I got one of the better buys on the internet, and I liked the available selection for customixing the kit to my own preferences. Their ordering form was a pain, and they sent no instructions with the kit. :/ It took them about 24 hours to respond to my initial email about ordering difficulties.

Welcome to ECF! Your new setup will blow your cigalike away, and I think you're really going to love it. I use Kanger T3s with Ego Twists (similar to the Spinner) a lot, and when I got this setup I was finally able to quit the stinkies (well . . . OK . . . I still have one now and then, but I'm down to less than one a day from a pack a day) :D Glad you joined the forum, and don't hesitate to holler if you need any help!

Cheers, and happy vaping! :toast::vapor:

Yes the ego spinners are great. And any kind of tank system is an awesome choice. I personally don't like carto tanks and use clearomizers for everything. Specially since you can re build the coils when they die

How hard is it to rebuild the clearomizers? I currently use the throw away kind, a little nervous to try to reassemble my own.

Do you mean rebuild the coils/wicks or replace the heads(pre-built coil/wick assembly)?
Rebuildable clearomizers have replacement heads available for purchase and are about as hard to replace as it is to replace batteries in a flashlight. Unscrew a base, unscrew the head and replace with new one.
YouTube a specific unit and more than likely you'll get instant hands on help.

To rebuild your own coil/wick from scratch is slightly more time involvement and requires a bit more knowledge, correct wick material and size, correct coil material and size(gauge), knowing how many wraps(of coil) are required to obtain a certain resistance(a multimeter is required). Not impossible or even as hard as it seems, but replacement heads are recommended for beginners.

Heck I've even rebuild a "no wick ce5" clearomizer that I got when I first started vaping and these are supposed to be disposable. My theory...if someone put it together, I can probably take it apart lol
