Welcome! :)

Quitting smoking for vaping is not always that easy.
You have the nicotine to consider, the 'satisfaction' of the vaping and the added chemicals in cigarettes to overcome as well.

Mostly, it's about will power and good hardware. If you google e-cigs, chances are you won't buy good hardware, but some 'other' products which are probably not giving you a fighting chance.

I went around in circles for 5-6 months using what I believed were good products. They weren't; they were just a con.

Have you got an e-cig that delivers or is that why you ask?

Welcome!

I've been vaping for over 4 years. I smoked for well over 20 years at 2 packs of cigarettes a day. I stopped smoking the day I picked up vaping. The key is finding the right juice, the right nic level, and the right device. Each person is different. What I need may not be the same as what you'll need. You have to experiment and find the right setup.

Once you find that right setup and juice you'll like vaping more. I know I did. You couldn't pay me to smoke now. My vaping is way more enjoyable. Too many delicious flavors to chose from... but with smoking you had one flavor.

Good luck. I hope you can kick that habit completely.

Hi and welcome. Keep talking to us and we'll try to help. Quitting the stkinkies for vape is not always easy. You need good vape gear that provides the type and amount of vapor you like reliably and without too much effort. You need a juice flavor you like so well you reach for your vape instead of a cig. And you need the right amount of nicotine in your juice, plus the right body blend to provide the throat hit. Above all else, like any kind of rehab, you need a lot of desire. You have to *want* to vape instead of smoking, or it won't work completely. But keep talking to us, as I say. We can help you find good juice and good dear and get it all dialed in so it's doing what you want. The desire you have to provide yourself :)

I've smoked for over 20 years, my wife about the same. We had tried switching to vaping about 5 years ago when all that was out there, was vape pens and our success was...well...less than stellar. We tried again about three years ago and never went back.

For us, it was the hardware that made the difference AND the new influx of juices. What you vape with, makes as big a difference as your mindset on quitting. Don't be afraid to try new flavors and equipment until you find what works for you. My wife and I discovered that it can take some time to get comfortable with it, but it will happen.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Currently using Ego-T and Ego-C Batteries with clearomizers which work for the 510 thread. I guess it will do for now, for me. The problem, is, I suppose the low concentration of the liquid I have. We are currently working on that in the e-liquid subforum.

I do hope to kick the habit. I'll have to see how far I make it. Thanks again.
