First off just wanted to say Hello. I just joined the site but have been on it reading for a few weeks. Someone on a body building site i post on sent me in this direction and i just wanna say this is a great forum with alot of good info.

Just wanna share alittle about my vaping so far and maybe ask some advice for the near future as im about to purchase a new unit. I started out with a 510 Joye with a PCC. Just had the free cartridges it came with. I didnt care for them very much. taste was bad and didnt last but a few puffs. Ordered a pack of 5 cartomizers a drip tip and some new juices. Loved the drip tip and used it mostly all teh time. The cartomizers were ok but seemed liek they didnt produce and vaper and also made everything really strong tasting. I continued using the drip tip but was having trouble with getting juice in my mouth or it hitting teh back of my throat with a fine mist of it which made my throat sore.

I decided to try cartomizers again but i ordered some new ones from madvapes just the regular 510's. Gotta say these carto's were 100 times better, good smooth draw great vape and great taste. Only thing is teh carto's seem to drain my batteries really quick. Im thinking i may need to get a new drip tip as well because maybe that is why im getting teh juice in my mouth because i didnt get a very good tip.

I really wanna get a new unit all together but i am torn on which to get. The two i have been looking at is the Provari and the Reo grand or woodvil. Vaper production is a big thing i want and also battery life which both these have. I like the reo because of the feed system but i dont like that thats all u can pretty much do with it i think, as in no using cartomizers, please correct me if im wrong. I like the provari because the VV and also u can drip or use carto's but no feed system unless u add a big awkward mod to it. Im actually leaning towards the Reo but im just so unsure. Also the wait on these is crazy.

Sorry for the long post but just wanted to get it all out there as this is my first post.:p Also been smoking for 21 years and in the last 4 weeks ive only had maybe 15 analogs. I just cant seem to egt over that morning analog for some reason.

Hi and welcome....congrat on switching....going from a 510 to the provari??? like goin from the basement to the attic.....the provari are nice but expensive..... you don't need a feeding system to vape....unless that is what you want.....try ikenvape.com for cartomizers and atties.......top of the line.
:)

ps....cartos really drain the 510 battery quickly......you could also look at the riva 510 or an Ego......vapor is really a product of the juice as well as the power of the batt.....plus the right carto.

Thanks for the replies. yeh i know its a big leap but honestly i just dont wanna waste my money on soemthing im pretty sure i dont want after reading about all of them. I dont mind spending the money on a good quality system. Ive tried juice from 3 different vendors so far, all listed on here with good reps. Cant sya ive really had a bad juice yet except one fruity one that was just way to fruity tasting for me. I htink its just the unit not living up to my vaping needs right now.

Which cartos did you get? If you got low resistance 510 cartos then they not only will drain your battery quickly, they can also damage slim 510 batteries.

My Boge 510 standard resistance 510 cartos do not drain my 510 batteries quickly.

But if you want the hotter hit LR carto provide, then you need to get a Riva or Ego fat-batetry model 510. LR cartos and attys are for use on 450mah+ batteries. Or Provari or Reo would work. Yeah you have to wait for Reos.

There are lots of mods out there most of them are very good, some are absolute works of art. But you have to consider what you want, a feeder, variable voltage, long battery life, etc. Don't rush it, research all the ones you think you may be interested in. You are probably going to be spending a good bit on one and it will probably last you a very long time. Make sure you think you are going to be comfortable with your choice. Don't jump on the first one that you think you want.

Got these from madvapes. think they are just regular carto's. I really didnt understand teh different ohms ones yet so i didnt bother with them. I love the way teh ones i got perform though.

Refillable 510 Cartomizers

You won't need to understand the ohms with a provari....just keep using the same cartos as you have now....and dial your own voltage to find the sweet spot....
nice....

You can use the REO with cartomizers, in fact some people prefer it. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/161209-reo-grand-mini-can-run-cartomizers-too.html You just use the bottom feed to keep the carto wet. If you go with a Mini, you have an amazingly small, travelling ninja. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...urements-parts-terminology-8.html#post3092444 The Grand and Woodvil are somewhat larger, but can handle 5v and 6v setups if you like. Drop by the REO forum and do some reading Reos Mods

Im really honestly leaning towards the reo, i just love dripping so much now i think it may be my best choice with less hassle. I love the provari to but i think the reo will just fit my needs better and will last me till they come out with a variable wattage mod. ;) Also may just get some bigger batteries for my 510 for times when i may wanna use my carto's.

Now i just gotta wait for one to come available. i got notified the other night of one being available but i hesitated like 5 minutes and all three got sold out in less than 10 minutes lol.

Rob is listing Minis and Grands tonight at 7:00 pm EST. There were Grands up for several hours the other day, and as of last night, there was still a gorgeous bloodwood Woodvil on the site. Good luck, and get another post so you can come over and say "Hi"

BTW, I went from my first pv, an eGo, to the REO Mini in January, and I haven't found the need to look elsewhere.

Re those cartos - those are what I use on 510 and they are fine. They don't use my battery up faster in any way other than me vaping more because I like them and they are ready to vape most of the time, unlike a cart or dripping. If they accidentally gave you LR ones (2.0 ohms), those would use your battery up quickly.

Zamfir,

About the morning analog, if you get yourself one bottle of juice that is one step higher in nicotine, try that in the mornings. Some folks need that extra punch to switch over completely. Try to make it a unique flavor, one that you don't normally vape daily. Capacino coffee nic juice is always good in the morning:)
I vape 15mg but carried a "911" bottle of juice with me the first few months. It was 24 mg and I only used it when I started jonesing and the anxiety was filling my chest.

I think everyone is looking for the same thing, the moneybox is close, but not perfect. I am waiting for a 0 - 8v VV devise with an automatic electrical adjustable juice delivery, with a off on button. Push it once to start sucking and push it again to turn off. I noticed that I am pushing a button on my ego or silver bullet for 5 -10 seconds. Why not an optional off on button that you don't have to hold. Like a flashlight push button? I think things are about to change and something really cool is coming out soon. Hopefully with a huge high power battery!:vapor:

Thanks for all the input guys and gals. I have a softball game tonight at 6 so maybe i can get home in time to get an order in on one of the reo grands. And i actually do have a 24mg cappuchino juice and usually do vape it in the morning lol. most my other juices are 18mg right now and honestly for me its not the nicotine i dont think its just more the habit and the feeling of the smoke but i know i can do this and quit completely, i have to, i have a beautiful 2 year old daughter that thinks im better than ice cream with sprinkles and i wanna be here for her as long as possible. Thanks again everyone and i looked forward to being a part of this forum and community!!!

To help bedtime and mornings - I bought a totally extra battery and leave my ecig set up all night while everything else is charging. I love it. I also use cartomizers because the worst thing ever was trying to get that morning vape and having a cart+atty acting up and not working grrrrrrr. Really the worst thing ever is screwing with cranky cart stuffing or juice that took a stroll out of a cart first thing in the morning. So I use cartos and I have difference flavors to choose from, some more gentle like Vanilla for the first few drags, and then something strong (my strong one is Vapor4Life WOWbacco) and some people use a strong tobacco+coffee flavor. I don't use higher nic in the morning - I just vape more. 2 drags of 12mg is the same nic as 1 drag of 24mg etc.

+1 on that. I don't think quickly or clearly in the morning, so having everything ready to go is a huge help. And as an aside, always always listen to dormouse. So helpful, so wise, so kind :)

Here's the latest update on the REO's:

Mini mods and grands will be on the site tonight 7 pm There wont be any mini black bodies long story.Looks like Tuesday if you wanting for a black black mini

The grands being sold are not as smooth as the last run of grands. I had problems with the anodizers. If anyone is unhappy with it please let me know. I will accept returns, for a full refund, no questions asked...as long as they haven't been used.
