Hi all,

I admit that I've been lurking for a few weeks and now decided to join the action!

There is a wealth of information here! Thanks to all you e-cig pioneers.

Just a couple of words by means of introduction: I started out by almost (!) getting an expensive
$150 kit at a Mall, but sensibly opted for the 30$ disposable they had. Little did I know
I didn't really use it much during my trip to the US, perhaps it saved 3 or 4 analogues in total.

Anyhow, after returning home I ordered an Ego starter kit and some ECOpure juice (18 mg).
Somehow it didn't really feel very satisfying but I was able to cut back from 8-10 RYO American Spirits
to about 6 of them - often just puffing - something at least. Then I went on a buying spree and got some
ECOpure 36 mg and three sorts of ENjuice 32 mg. While I never really felt much effect from the ECOpure
it seems that the other liquid is beginning to hit the sweet spot! I'm now down to 3-4. The ECOpure
has great tastes, though.

Well, perhaps it's my body adjusting to the new delivery device, and I'm allowing myself all the time I need. I don't care if I stick with a couple of analogues for some time, but any more that 4 is far too many for
my sensitive system. Actually, I must be so sensitive to something that even scrounging the odd
industrial cig has always made me feel kinda funny - slightly depressed, even. Perhaps the organic AMS
has less junk in it ...

What I have noticed is that the delivery of nicotine is much slower than with an analogue. If I have
gone without one for longer than 10 or so hours I will feel that satisfying, relaxing, hit. Not so with
the e-cig. I'm still experimenting, but if I use the ego for a while before trying the analog it will
reduce the rush it has. So, whatever is happening I haven't quite figured out yet. If I can cut to
2 or less analogues in the mid term I'll be happy enough.

Another thing I've noticed is sleep: more dreaming, less deep, harder to fall asleep, but don't
feel tired during the day at all.

Ego working perfectly. Great battery, dripping the 510 atties works a charm. I feel almost like
a pro now

Have a great Sunday,

egotrip (for lack of a better username :p)

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I have noticed that I have to cut back the time spent in the evening reading ECF :?: preoccupations tend to stick around at night ... plus the whole novelty and the fact that
the poor old body is having to reorganize itself around a new nic delivery schedule (minus the
other crap in those cigs) - and I'm a bit of a self-watching hypochondriac , I must admit.

Since I was probably doing fewer cigs than many out there physical changes have so far not been
so pronounced. Sense of smell is much better, though, and smoke tastes / smells horrid.
I do exercise regularly and I'm looking forward to better stamina. But then I'm still on a few
analogues daily. Strange, they smell and taste ghastly but contain something that I still need.

A good friend is around tomorrow and I'll get a chance at converting her also. She's helping
me sort out a few things and I'm considering getting her an ego kit in return. I'll give her
my second ego to try and see if she takes a liking (she smokes a fair decent bit).

Talk to you later,

Well sound liked you've had quite the experience trying it out... I had friends that really helped me. They had gone through all of the do's and don'ts. So they're experience help me save a lot of time and money. I use Joye Ego Mega Cartomizers and have found them to work well. I only use one of two liquid suppliers they also help me find. Backwoods Brew and FreedomSmokeUSA. Both of these suppliers have great tasting liquids and if you're into the cherry taste. Once again they have the best... good luck and hope this helped just a bit..

So far I have mainly tried two main juice sources: ENJuice and Ecopure and have gone for the VG versions with max. nicotine. I like the wafts of vapour the VG produces and have tobacco, coffee and fruit flavours. Figured I will stick with highest nic content so that I have to draw the smallest amount of vapour for the desired effect. The taste for the moment is a nice side issue for me and I don't yet see myself vaping with little or no nic, i.e. just for the taste.

Could be wrong here, but there is always the risk that vaping poses some risks of its own (such as SOB reported by some) so I do want to limit my exposure. Funny thing is that I am chain vaping a bit less when I have the opportunity (like sitting at the PC) and actually feel the nic more than at the beginning. Perhaps I'm getting more sensitive to it. With analogues I never did them in a row and often only half or quarter smoked a rollie only to pick it up and resume later. That's the kind of moderate use I want to achieve with vaping in the long term.

I'm down to about 2-3 "thin" rollie analogues per day and will see at what level I want to bottom out. Second hand smoke really smells terrible so it might just be that I drop the analogues for good - lets see ...

Now let's all hope that govts around the world won't take this great new innovation from us. Otherwise
we'll have to resort to kitchen chemistry - perhaps from home grown tobacco. I can't see hardware
being limited in any serious way since there would always be the legit use with no-nic juice.

Still going through this amazing repository of information and fun that is ECF ... egotrip
