I received mine yesterday, just finished it thru the SMOK tank. Great tank!
I'm using it on the itaste MVP with my normal 70/30pg/vg juice. I'm really not liking it so far.
It does not seem to feed the coil very well thru the holes, if I drip juice down the sides of the carto it works fine. But if I don't I get a very warm/hot vape, kinda burnt. I have to turn the voltage down to 3.3v just to be able to vape. The vapor is alright but not great,TH and taste just ok. Hopefully it will get better.

Danno/Chris - do you know if there are any plans to offer 1) an XL size version, and 2) a non-flanged version? I'm really interested in these but use a ProVari with Phiniac tanks, so right now these sound like a no-go.

The tanks, flanged and non-flanged Raven's are already in stock... of course now you will have to wait until they reopen on Saturday after they finish the inventory and website maintenance

I tried my first one last night and am having the same problem as you, poor wicking and burnt/metallic taste. I had to turn down the volts to 3.3-3.5 and prime in between hits. I'm using it in a Raven tank with Halo Tribecca. I had the same problem with my first Raven carto but the second one was great so hopefully my second SmokTech ss mesh will be great two.

Is this unit sort of the second generation Raven? Does seem similar?
From those of y'all that have and are using these, how well do they wick, do they leak, how is the flavor, TH, and vapor, in that order?

Though similar in function (fillerless tank carto), the DCT-2a is totally different internally from the Raven.
I like 'em. I like the Raven, too. Flavor and vapor to me are very similar. TH or heat of vapor seems to be slightly warmer on the DCT-2a.
The only time I have had a leak with the DCT-2a was going from room temp to sitting out in the sun by the pool without vaping it. That is to be expected.
I frequently get a bit of a gurgle (overwicking) when I let the tank get pretty low. Above a quarter of a tank it has been fine. Same-o with the Raven for me.
YMMV considerably. No product works well for everyone, and no product works the same way for everyone.
That is a bit scant on info if you are looking for suggestions...
Did you prime it?
What PG/VG ratio is the juice you are using?
What voltage/wattage are you vaping at?
Plus question number one: Are they from GotVapes, or another vendor?

Yes, they are from Gotvapes. They might be out of stock right now, but I am sure they will be back in stock soon; just sign up for the "back in stock" notification. I have one of these, and I love it! I put a 30PG/70VG juice in it since it has three holes, but I'm sure it will work just fine with higher PG content juices.
If you really can't wait to try a fillerless carto, try one of Gotvapes' Raven Carto tanks. I believe they come complete: tank, fillerless carto, drip tip. All you need to do is add e liquid!
