Congrats and welcome to ECF

the easiest way to reduce nic levels is to order a bottle of your current nic strength and and a bottle of the same flavor at 0 nic and mix at the appropriate percentages to get down to the strength you want

ie: If you start with 12 MG e-liquid
9 MG = 3 parts 12mg + 1 part 0mg
8 MG = 2 parts 12mg + 1 part 0mg
6 MG = 1 part 12mg+ 1 part 0mg
4 MG = 1 part 12mg + 2 parts 0mg
3 MG = 1 part 12mg + 3 parts 0mg
2.4 MG = 1 part 12mg + 4 parts 0mg

Hi colwellj. Glad the eGo-T is working for you and your hubby. My first set of batteries were eGo-t upgraded ones and they worked great for me until I got the bug to get a variable volt as my juice collection grew and I found the voltage sweet spot for some flavors were different.

I am also dropping nic level, but I am not in a hurry. I started at 18mg and switched to 12mg after about 3 months and it has been fine. In another month I will get some 6mg and mix it with 12mg which will drop my nic level to 9mg.

Everyone's path and goals can be different. What was suggested to me was to remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. Though my goal is to be nic free, I don't want to hurry the process to the point of tempting me back to analogs, because my main goal in vaping is to remain analog free. That being said, I have read other's experiences and their success in dropping nic levels pretty quickly and successfully.

However you and your hubby travel along your vape paths, the great thing is that ECF is a place to get support in a friendly, non-judgmental environment from folks who have a wealth of practical experience.

Glad you found us and thanks for sharing your experience. Keep the vape and namaste.
