Hello I am Linda and am new to this forum, hoping to learn from all of you. I started using ecigs in January of this year although have continued to smoke as well.....but as of Monday I decided the cigarettes are history. I am proud to say today is day 3 of no cigarettes :) !
I am curious as to what are the better and most economical ecigs in your opinion. I am currently using blu and 21stcenturysmoke.

to ecf Linda Fero. So glad you are here. Congrats on the decision to quit. Isn't vaping the best? I quickly moved from the cigalikes to a ego style battery. If I knew then what I know now........I would have started out on a mvp2 just because they are so easy to use and has a very solid battery life. Look forward to reading about your continued success and if you have any questions or issues, don't hesitate to ask because there are always wonderful people here that want to help. I know. :D Good luck to you and happy vaping.

I use the Innokin itaste vv v3 and the Innokin itaste MVP 2, I like them both and I always have a vaporizer ready to use.

Welcome!

I would second this or something similar. I tried Blu-type e-cigs about a year ago (V2cigs) - couldn't stay off of regular cigs with them. It wasn't until I got a variable voltage device (in my case a Vision Spinner 1300mah) and a tank a few weeks back that I was finally able to quit for good. Also, I would recommend starting off with a glass/pyrex tank - there are some e-liquids out there (cinnamon, citrus, etc) that will crack plastic/polycarbonate tanks. Kanger Protank 3's or Mini Protank 3's are popular and well-reviewed tanks, and you can find coils every for them as a result. Also, if you advance to coil building, they are relatively easy to re-coil. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you a few links where you can get them for a good price. Good luck!

Good morning Linda, and welcome to the forum.
I'm a new guy too so I can relate, I know I want to do this but where do I start?
Well, the guys are right, you're eventually going to want a good piece of equipment which gives you control over your vaping experience and eliquid that offers a wide range of taste. In fact they've almost got me convinced, that Innokin iTaste looks like a good piece of gear and at a very good price.
I currently use rechargeable ecigs with cartomizers and a thing called an eGo which is a big battery with a tank of ejuice sitting on top. The eGo is the very primitive baby brother of the Innokin they were talking about.
Question - Are you using disposable ecigs? If so your greatest economy will come from switching from disposables to reusables. Cartomizers and ejuice cost a lot less than replacing disposable ecigs every day. Also using eliquid will open up a world of flavor choices you can't imagine => RY4!
Like I said I'm looking at that Innokin myself but you should know they are big. If you feel more comfortable with something smaller and more cig-like you still have choices both economical and tastee.
Welcome aboard, keep vapin' - Red

Hello Linda :)

Sadly, the type of products blu and 21stC offer are almost certainly many times more expensive than a refillable tank eGo type e-cig.

I can't speak for the US, but in the UK, one can easily spend £250 or £2,500 a year on essentially getting the same amount of nicotine.

The bigger refillable e-cigs are cheaper, more satisfying and more effective.

My personal favorite is the Innokin iTasteVV with mini Kanger Protanks.

Hi Linda,
I am new here as well, but I have been vaping for about a year now. I and my wife started at the same time. She was having knee replacement surgery and the doctor would not operate if she had smoked within 30 days prior to her surgery. I quit as well because it wouldn't have been possible for her to quit with me smoking in front of her. We tried e-cigarettes and presto problem solved. Truly a blessing if not a miracle. Both of us had been smokers for over 20 years.
All of that being said, I/we have been through several brands and types of e-cigarettes along the way before finding what we were happy with. I think I can save any person new to e-cigarettes and vaping a lot of time, trouble, and money through my experiences.
My wife was a menthol smoker and prefers e-cigarettes that mimic a real cigarette in shape and taste. I was a non-menthol smoker and needed something stronger than typical disposable and slim e-cigarettes could offer. I will start a new post to explain best and worst ways to go for vapors like my wife and myself.
