Hey guys, i am new here and have read for a couple days. Figured i would sign up and start contributing. I am completely new to vaping. I was a 2 pack a day smoker for about 13 years and 2 days ago i walked into a vape shop and have never looked back. No cigarettes for me going on two days, and with this vape to be honest i dont even crave a cigarette at all. I obviously have no clue what im doing as of yet, but i will get there. As far as what i have goes i bought the ego kit. It is a ego evod i got the 2 battery kit they are 1100 mah. It came with plastic tanks, but today i went into a different shop and grabbed a glass tank called KangerTech Mini Pro Tank 2. I love it. Other than that, that is all i know about with what i have. Just placed an order over at Mt baker vapor for some ejuices (dragon fruit, blueberry, butter pecan, rainbow sherbert). I also am currently vaping Menthol turkish blend, Strawberry Banana and Watermelon.

So, my question is.. What is the next step for me? All this is confusing to me as a beginner, but i love it so far. Is my starting kit a decent one? I am a sucker for big throat hits and lots of smoke, that is what reminds me of smoking the most. Other than that, id love to hear from everybody and your recommendations on ejuices, and equipment. Thanks alot guys.

If you want big cloud production you'll probably move to a mechanical mod like I did. But I would recommend asking many questions and researching before you make that jump since there are so many options out there. As for e-juice I would have to recommend The Vapor Chef. They make all their e-juice in a lab under very controlled conditions.

to ecf shultsy24 . So glad you are here. We were all new at one time. That's what makes ecf so special. . . you're not alone. Congrats on you decision to vape. The only thing that has ever worked for me. It was easy and I love it. Continued success to you and I look forward to reading how well you are doing. Have fun and happy vaping.

As far a recommendations, I started out on a small cig-like kit and quickly moved to ego style batteries because I need more. I sort of wish I had just started out with the mvp2 because it is easy to use, reliable and has a fantastic battery life. I then got into dripping and ended up using the reo grand which I consider to be the ultimate dripper. This is where I will stay because I am happy. You have to find out what makes you happy. Alway read up on ecf before you buy something because it will save lots of time and money. Just have fun and try new things til you find exactly what you are looking for. Here is a thread that I use to check a lot before I started making my own juice.

You can find some really good sales which is nice when you are trying to find what makes your taste buds dance. Good luck to you and have fun.

Hello and welcome to the forum shultsy :)

Sounds like you've got a nice start there, now just read and learn. You'll figure out what you want next, we're all pretty good enablers around here

If your juices are clear those coils should last you anywhere from 3 to 7 days depending on how you vape and cost anywhere from 5 to 7 dollars for a box of 5.

Susan thank you-- when I got the double battery kit it came with 2 plastic tanks and I recently purchased a kanger pro mini tank 2. But I have yet to buy coils. How much do they usually run? How often do they need replaced?

Replacement Coil Heads run about $2 give or take 50 cents each. Sometimes you can get single coil replacements for about $7.50 for 5. I like EGO sise tanks that are dual coil like EVOD 2 Protank3 mini or the single bottom coil MT3s The MT3s holds about 3 mils of juice and costs about $6 online. It uses a different coil then protanks -http://www.aquavaporcig.com/5-Pack-T3s-MT3s-Bottom-Coil-Clearomizer-BCC-Replacement-Coil_p_532.html
