new HV and LR atty's covered in liquid?

I just received 15 new atty's and they all are covered in a sticky liquid inside and out. They were the only thing in the box (no e-liquid) and were covered in droplets of liquid something. The boxes they came in (3 boxes of 5) also had this liquid on it. Ive ordered dozens and dozens of atty's before and have never seen anything like this before. Each atty came in the standard plastic sleeve and the liquid appears to be only inside the plastic sleeves...not on the outside. These are also black atty's which is new as the HV's are normally silver. Anyone else experience this? I'm very nervous using these without knowing what this stuff is.

My LR atty’s also had some liquid covering them. It seemed like an oily substance. All I did was the rinse and burn dry process, (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/eastmall-ecigarette/79221-tips-tricks.html) which works fine for me.

Had the same thing with mine, but they all functioned great. It's just the primer.

Might be VG to keep the wick wet (primer). dont know for sure..

and no, I'm not going to taste it

it is the factory primer -- usually either plain PG or plain VG

but I would guess ---- PG --- no problem

it is applied to keep the coil moist-

sometimes they get a bit enthusiastic with the squirt bottle -

as is suggested here --

just rinse, or even just wipe with a tissue or paper towel.

I just wipe mine with paper towel
and then use with my juice as normal.

we used to use Red Bull ages ago

but when there was trouble with some countries and juice-

we made the accross the board decision to -

use only PG or VG for our primer for atty primer.
