Hi Di. Since I started this thread, figured I should let you know what I think about the HV attys now that I've had them a while.

I've been using the 801 HV atomizers for 2 or 3 weeks now, non-stop. I have two 6V "Chucks" that I use in rotation. I supposed I could be described as a chain vaper - rarely without a PV in my hand. EM's HV attys seem to hold up really well - haven't blown one up yet. I think the taste is less harsh than standard 801 atomizers on a 6V device. The taste is closer to that 5V "sweet spot" that so many vapers seem to prefer. As long as I follow your advice and "keep it wet", the hit is not harsh and they produce lots of vapor. I have a feeling your HV attys are all I'll use from now on.

I like the satin stainless steel look a LOT. All my other silver attys are shiny, these are satin, so I can easily tell them apart. They look really nice.

THE QUESTION: I go thru massive quantities of your juice. 24mg Red Bull is what I mainly vape with. Do you PROMISE the manufacturer of your juice goes thru a lot of quality control and uses only the best ingredients? I'm always hearing about toys from China having lead in the paint, or wheat glutin (or whatever it was) in dog food killing dogs. Please promise me that your manufacturer isn't using something toxic as an ingredient. I use so much of your juice, if they do, I'm a goner for sure.

Thanks!

I also have been using the HV attys for a couple of weeks now with Indulgence and another of my PV's........

I love the smoothness of the smoke as you say, and the copious amounts of smoke that they produce.....
I have to see the volumous clouds as well as taste it
for it to be perfect for me,
with these HV attys I am getting this and more taste as well, I am very pleased with them.

No, I cannot personally promise anything about the juice that De Kang manufactures, -------
all I can say is that we use it ourselves --- all of us at East Mall use our own juice that we sell, and if we did not trust it, we surely would not use it ourselves.
the whole ecig and vaping concept is very new, and as such not much research has been done on it,
all I can say is that we use it ourselves ---
and we believe it is made from pure and good ingredients.

I am also a serial vaper, --
I never have my ecig out of my hands and or mouth unless I am sleeping -- I go thru juice like - 5 to 7 mls a day--
I have been using these amounts for 12 months plus.

I do believe that whatever is in the juice - it has to be better than the carcinogens that are contained in the tobacco that we used to burn and inhale before coming to ecigs.

Eastmall juice is pretty decent, but if someone is truly worried about the pureness you can easily buy the purest ingredients online and make your own juice.

Ill take pg and flavoring over any anolog any day when it comes to safety.

yes, BK,

I agree,

I make my own as well,
I use Loranns and bickfords flavas, and vg it is fantastic --
:)

I know this sounds dumb but while I know what VG is, I do not know what the fad is about, I never tried VG juice becuase I never had a issue with PG.

So can someone explain to me why people like vg, whats the difference, less or more vapor, thicker or thinnner?. Is one better at high volts or something.?

IS there a real difference in taste in vg or pg, I just dont get it, unless some people just want the vegetable versus the p.

OK, BK,

PG is the normal and most commonly use carrier as such,
for the nicotine that we vape
It is used by all the companies who manufacture ejuice.

some people have found that they are allergic to pG and have reactions to it, so they will use VG instead, -- and they find it better.

The differences--

VG, is a much thicker consistency
it is sweeter to the taste,
when it is used in ejuice, either alone or in tandem with PG it adds thickness, sweetness and it also adds volume to the smoke produced from the vape.
The VG makes a much thicker vapor and it hangs in the air longer than PG vapor,
the VG vapor is thicker, heavier, warmer,
and really just allover more luscious.

I love VG, because I love to see lots of smoke, and so I use mainly VG,
if I mix the two together I use a mix of 60% VG and 40% PG,
if I am diluting a readymade ejuice which is already made with PG, then I use just VG.
when I make my own ejuice,,
I use flava and VG and it is - for me - perfect.

Greetings,

I am waiting for my Super Six to arrive from Super T, but I have already seen a potential problem. According, to one poster there seems to be a problem with the Eastmall HV 801 screwing on to the SS and making a proper connection.

Have you had any other reported problems with the atomizer matching up with other threads on other PV's? I know that's a tough one to answer because there are not that many high voltage devices out there, anyway.

Original thread is under Super T manufacturing, under "What's that grey crap on my s6?"

Thank you for your attention.

I dont know of any problems with attys matching to other pvs, -- sometimes there is a problem with the pv threads, but ususally if you try a different atty it solves the issue.

I know our EM attys are used widely all around the world on many different pvs and we do not usually have too many problems.

I know a few peeps who have the superT and they use em attys with no probs,
I am not sure which ones they are using tho,
maybe 901, and 801, but I think maybe ask in the super T forum is the best answer here.

Hi Di, Are you back working for EastMall?

You may remember in another thread right after the HV atomizers came out, I mentioned that the threads on the early HV801s I received were a bit tight such that on my VP2 it felt like I was possibly re-cutting or stretching the threads. I believe you commented that the threads on yours were slightly tight too. Has this been changed on the more recent runs?

Hi Di,

Thank you for your quick response. I guess that the only way that I will know is to try the HV's when they arrive, and of course when the Super Six arrives.

Best,

A

Yes Kona,

I am back with EM again.

and yes the threads have been changed a little
my first ones as you say --were a little tight,

but my subsequent ones have been perfectly good, and well fitting
I found them very easy to screw on
and have no problems with them at all

just be careful aligning the threads to get started,
and they are quite fine now.
:)

Hi North Shore

yes, the only way we will know for sure is to try them when they arrive and with your pv as well.

I hope they will be ok for you,
meantime, - while you are waiting,
go to the pv's forum, and have a read and ask questions
there about your issue,
it may be you will find answers
or suggestions there.

Di,

I realize this is an old thread, but I've been having this HV-EM8 atty "threads" issue since I purchased them back in May. First I thought it was just me not screwing them onto my Indulgence correctly. I can only get a couple threads to engage. I tried everything too, nothing seems to help. To make things worse, now the threads on my brass insert are showing excessive signs of wear and tear.

I hate to be a Davey-downer, but I have also noticed that the titanium coating on the extender cup I bought at EM is starting to peel off. See photos below;

Lastly, I just want to make sure that anyone who reads this, that I'm by no means saying I dislike or that I'm unhappy with my Indulgence. I purchased it second hand from another ECF member. I use it exclusively about 18hr a day, and it has never failed me.

Di, you've helped me in the past with your knowledge and support, and I just wanted to say in advance, "Thanks" for any assistance you can lend me.

No, those are not scratches, that is the titanium coating peeling off from the aluminum.

OK sanjosse

I know that this was bought secondhand from a third party so we are not talking warranty here

BUT we will help you with this as a friend of eastmall ------

now the coating peeling off issue ---

yes, I have one of mine that started doing this also -

it is an unfortunate thing, and once it starts it is not possible to fix --
SO

we make it nice like this -------

take some very fine sandpaper, - glasspaper is the best -

sand all of the coating off- yes, go on - be brave ----

when you get it all off,
then buff it all up with a nice soft cloth ------

now you will have a beautiful-

Rose Gold finish to it -- Loverly --

Like this ------

gallery_2_7_56194.jpg

Beeeeeeeeeooooootifuul I did the whole thing now -

it is gorgeous, and all shiny and nice and does not peel at all - haha

as to the 801 atty --

these can screw right down, or just a few turns,
what ever it fits to-

so long as it vapes - it is good---- some screw down more than others.

I have some that screw right down tight, and others that sit up high with only a few turns to connect.
as long as they vape I am happy.

if your adapter thread is worn, you can now buy replacement cap and threads in the shop, we have made all parts available as separate items now for all the replacement needs.
