This simple modification works for me. Off course you can use any other method of supporting the filter, I just found the spring holds the filter material nicely in place and takes up less of the cart volume.

A few simple guidelines:
- The hole size required depends on the viscocity of your liquid.
- I used standard polyester filter - the same stuff used on a stove extractor filter.
- The spring diameter should be such to support the filter material from being pushed down too much.
- The small groove is to allow air from the atomizer to move towards the hole and prevent an air-lock - This part is the most important of it all. I made my groove about 1mm wide.
