I don't know which X^ tank you are looking at but if it's a top feeder (dangly cotton wicks) I'd reconsider and find a bottom feed tank. Your first upgrade should probably be a new mod (battery) like the iStick 30W. If you get a 30W mod, then you won't need a new battery to experience an upgraded tank plus moveement into sub ohm tanks. You can check here for sales :

The iStick 30W is a 2400 mah (almost twice the 1300 mah of the X6) internal battery. It really isn't much larger (width) than the X6 and is probably a little shorter. The X6 I looked at is only good to 4.2 volts (Spinner 2), and the iStick 30 will fire a larger range of tanks. The X6 is older technology than the iStick 30. I'd recommend the iStick if you're even thinking about experiencing sub ohm tanks like the Subtank Mini.

An istick 30W is almost an all day battery for me. That said, get two, so you never run out of power. And, if you need to you can vape it while it charges. Make sure you get the V2 version, it is the newest, but some sellers still have V1. It is comfortable in the hand, and you can get a silicon cover to make it even easier to hold.
