Hi! I'm fairly new to the forums and I have some newbie questions. Feel free to share yours as well! Lol

My setup: kangertech t3s tank and ego-c twist battery.

What is the difference between an atomizer? A cartomizer? A clearomizer? Which do I have??

What is the point of the disposable tanks? Do they have their benefits?

Where are my coils?

I know that PG is used in asthma inhalers, but is it normal to taste/feel the inhaler similarity? I haven't noticed before, but it is very strong in the new 100% PG juice that I am currently vaping.

Are there any dangers to ordering from lesser known/cheap ejuice websites? (Other than the obvious flavor risk)

Thanks in advance and I look forward to many future discussions with my fellow vapers!

What is the difference between an atomizer? A cartomizer? A clearomizer? Which do I have??Cartomizers use a cart inside of the tank. Clearomizer use a "fiber" wicking system

What is the point of the disposable tanks? Do they have their benefits?IMO, they are strictly for noobs. They are throw aways and not usually very good.

Where are my coils? They are in your atomizer head

Are there any dangers to ordering from lesser known/cheap ejuice websites? (Other than the obvious flavor risk)Buy at your own risk! The sites approved of here have some very affordable juices and buyer approval behind them.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to many future discussions with my fellow vapers!
Relax and enjoy the vape :vapor:

Im fairly new as well but since u got the t3 all i can say is that it is a bottom coil changeable, meaning the coil inside is the only disposable part, you can keep the t3 as long as you clean it time to time. Coil should be at the bottom part, go on youtube and look for t3 tank reviews, they usually show how to take it apart.

As far as i know an atomizer is a discrete unit consisting of a heater. You either drip juice onto the mesh element or use a separate cartridge that contains vape juice.
A cartomizer is one piece, consisting of a heating element surround by a similar batting material as found in a cartridge. You can get cartridges or cartomizers filed or unfilled, and can refill either when they run out.

For the juices, im not really sure because i havent used inhalers. But PG is the one that is responsible for the flavoring and throat hit and VG is in charge of the vapor production (but is sweet in taste from what i've researched before)

Well there are lots of risks of ordering from a lesser known/cheap website.

Reliability (shipping, giving your order, juice quality, not a scam)
Quality (juice, price)
Quantity
How and Where it's made
What is put in the stuff? (Verification is a must)

Hope this helps and welcome to vaping

An atomizer is noting more than a piece of resistance wire wrapped around a absorbent material AKA wicks. The wrapped wire is called a coil. Every clearomizer, cartomizer, etc contains an atomizer... Along with the battery the atomizer is a central component of electronic cigarettes.

A Cartomizer usually is a metal tube with an atomizer place a the bottom. The atomizer is surrounded by a filler material. The filler material acts as a juice retainer. The wicks of the atomizer touches the filler material and draws liquid from it by capillary action. The cartomizer needs to be refilled when empty and NEVER fired while dry.

A Clearomizer is a clear tank system that doesn't use filler material. T3's, protanks, viv nova's etc are examples of clearomizer. The wick and coil assembly (atomizer) may be placed at the bottom of cearomizers (bottom coil clearo, BCC) or at the top (top coil clearomizers)

You have a clearomizer.

What is the point of the disposable tanks? Do they have their benefits?

They usually comes with sub par cig-a-like kits. I don't know of any long term vapers that uses them.

Where are my coils?

You have a bottom coil clearomizer

A lot of people will tell you not to buy Chinese juices.... Personally I think that Cheap chinese juice like Dekang juices are safe to vape. They uses way more elaborate clean-room technologies than any american vendors I know about.

G'day Grunge. Same questions I had at the start of my journey. I spent a lot of time watching you-tube vids about all sorts of things. For example type "Kanger T3S" into your google search then look for a you-tube video. Also questions like "compare cleromisers and cartomisers". You can learn heaps from this as most of the guys producing the vids cover off all sorts of reviews of attys, cartos, clearos, mods, juices.

FWIW, I prefer the T3S after having tried all sorts of cartos and clearos. For me, it seems to provide better taste and is very easy to maintain. You will need a pack of replacement coils, though. As soon as you start getting a stale/burnt taste, replace the coil. Watching vids will also show you how to clean/rebuild these coils so you don't have to toss them as frequently.

Hope it all works for you.
