Hi, ECF!

I'm not exactly new here (been a member for quite some time now), but this is my first post.

I first heard about e-cigs somewhere on the Internet (can't remember where). I went to a local smoke shop and bought a proprietary model (never was entirely sure who manufactured it; it didn't say explicitly). It was the greatest thing ever at the time until I bought my first "real" models from Totally Wicked.

I've stuck with the 510 since that time, primarily because parts seem to be available all over the Internet. I have 801 and 901 atomizers that I very occasionally use with my Prodigy (or with adapters on my 510 batteries). I haven't notice many differences, but would love someone to tell me what they're supposed to be. I'm still kind of a novice to the world of e-cig hardware. ;-)

I've mostly been using cartridges but have recently discovered how to de-wick and de-bridge my attys and found dripping to be a good way to get a quick (albeit somewhat messier) fix. I'm torn as to which I like better.

I mix my own juice and am currently looking for excellent nicotine-free flavor vendors. If you know of any, I welcome suggestions! Favorite flavors (in no particular order): vanilla, clove, tobacco, coffee, menthol, cinnamon, cola, Mtn. Dew, berries.

I tend to stick with PG. I've tried VG but it's a bit too thick for the dropper bottles that I use for my juice. Would love to know where to get droppers for VG, which seems like the base to use for sweeter flavors.

Welcome (back)! :)

Using 510 and carts? Good for you. Everyone and their mother will tell you to use cartos, Boge 2.0 and EMDCC seem to be leaders right now. Me, I'm still on carts...and feeling fine. I did get a Riva 510, a bigger batt, got tired of charging all the time, using 510s as backup. It's fun to try new things, but whatever works for you!

I don't DIY, but I've heard Flavorart and Perfume's Apprentice are two of many flavor vendors. Others will offer more.

Happy vaping!

I have not found much that gives any throat feeling at 0nic but try these

Try Gourmet Vapor vanillarum and I believe the code vapefest is still giving 50% off until Sept 14
It is vanilla + caramel and rum and the rum adds a nice feel to it (as well a very nice flavor). I buy 80PG/20VG or 90PG/10VG to add a bit of vapor while keeping the flavor as full as possible (also so it will work well in stuffing cartomizers)

Try Velvet Vapor Raspberry Gingerale (they have sample packs)
I have not tried the 0nic yet but bought it is 100% PG since I think their PG/VG blend is around 25-30% VG and it was really nice on an atomizer but I don't use that much VG in cartos. I used to buy their PG/VG blend with nicotine and the ginger gives it a bit of an extra kick. Hopefully you still feel the ginger in 0nic. It was a very realistic flavor.

BTW I love Boge cartos on 510 (standard resistance for slim batteries). I am still using Joye 510 and Joye mega xl 510 (all manuals - easier to get a good hit, safe from carto leaks). The Joye 510 mega xl manuals are particularly nice and I use one at home. Out I use the short 510's with a VaporMaxx PCC for NoSMokeVA, mainly because the PCC is roomy. I split my time between the 510 manual and K808D-1 manual, with visits to the big batteries for some bigger warmer hits.
