My very first post in my new non-smoking adventure!

I ordered my unit Thursday after overloading on sooooo much information here. It's pretty awesome what you can learn. I eventually just ordered one people liked some.

The little brochure that came with it was glossy but not very informative on how the thing works or much of anything. Hopefully, the vids I've been watching here will keep me straight.

It's charging up and apparently will be for some hours. That might not be all bad since I smelled the juices that I got and I'm not 100% that I want that in my mouth. French Pipe tobacco has some really strong smell. I put in some menthol with it... I have no idea at this point if that's gonna be better or mouthwash time. I got some Ry4, some Virginia horn tobacco... a couple others. I could get over a cigarette that looks more like a pen, but I couldn't get past wanting some flavors that said tobacco. Please let this thing work!

Hello and welcome! I'm sure it will work great for ya (love my T's) and the battery may have come with a charge on it already. Don't forget to blow out the atty before you vape on it. That shipping fluid will alter the flavor of your juice. Also, don't get frustrated with flavors just yet, it takes awhile for both your taste buds and some juices to level out and start tasting good. After my first month of only vaping, I tried a Winston Light 100's that was left over (new pack in the freezer), and man did that taste BAAADDDDDDDD!

Welcome and congratulations. Yes, be sure to blow out the atty before your first vape - the stuff can be nasty. As for the smell of the liquids, they often do not smell much like they do when vaped (some may need to age as you have probably read here). Think in terms of vanilla extract - out of the bottle it really doesn't smell very tasty, but dilute it in food or drink and....

Oh my word - mouthwash time. That stuff tastes like roadkill after two weeks in the sun. Okay, I don't know that, but at least LadyWeeps, you're right, the light was green! Now I put on one filled with menthol and I suppose eventually it won't taste like rotten tomatoes.
