:p recieved my ego -t today, had ordered the Titanium, 650 mAh ,type A, from MyVapeStore.....
It was easy to put together, didn't take long to charge both of them...AWESOME vape......
Did notice a few things.......a little leak but i threw the white rubber thingy (condom?) over the flat tip mouth piece and didn't notice anything after that lol......yes I did put the cartridge in till i heard a click...........as I vaped on the first one, i did notice a smell ...can't put my finger (tastebuds) on it but its somewhat between caramel, or woodsy smell.......not sure if it's the tabacco that came with it or the ego.....so, i disasembled it, cleaned the inside with peroxide and swab ( came out black) changed the flavor bottle to tiramisu and vaped some more......still same smell.....its not bad just different.......I am sure it can be fixed lol...but i wanted to vape some more, u know, new toy---gotta play lol
the second ego is the same way but no leaks......hmmm guess i have to boil both and see if that helps....
All in all , wish I would have bought the Ego T to begin with instead of the $64 analog looking thing.....I love the tanks and how u just snap them in and be done with it for the rest of the day without having to constantly refill fluid or recharge batt...3 days ago i was out and sure enough my analog looking one went dead on me after 2 hrs....not a happy camper ..so yeah i love my ego t ..even with the tiny leak and smell.....Im seriously thinking of buying another set in Black......If you are a newbie like me, go for the ego.t.......trust me.....spare u some headaches trying to choose..besides it looks sleek and it is not heavy .:p:vapor:cant wait to show it off in puplic lol

Make sure you're blowing out all the nasty primer they leave in there. Gives some people a weird spaced out feeling, which I'm pretty sure is just machine oil and can't be good to inhale.

Blow (hard as you can) for around a minute (take breaks or you'll pass out!) from the battery end with a tissue on the other end until it stops sopping up the liquid then stick the tissue inside to sop up the rest thats still there...

Should be good to go after that.

If you're getting a dry burny taste the wick is probably too high and will need to be adjusted.

Good luck to you. I agree ego-t is a very good system for a beginner, it's what I started with. I hope your leaking problem doesn't continue, however. Mine didn't leak at all at first, then despite putting new attys and tanks on, I was getting serious leaks every week - the entire contents of the tank leaking out at the battery screw in area.

So I just got some Echo-E cartomizers, they aren't supposed to leak. If that turns out to be true, I'll probably stay with the cartomizers from here out.

A couple tricks I have learned with mine. Blow out the atty between flavors...nothing as major as getting the primer out, but get the excess liquid out and the flavors don't muddle as much. Some leakage/flooding will occur. I usually notice these problems when the juice is getting low. Also when I'm not using it for a while, I lay it on an angle with the mouthpiece down. I would also recommend getting the rubber end caps for the atty end. You can get them at hitliquid.com and maybe a few other vendors. I have had no problems since I got those.

Hey Tipsy! Got my eGo-T two days ago. Had a little bit of a problem yesterday with a burnt/non-flavor taste. I was so happy with the battery life, I went through a couple of tanks of juice, hotboxing all the way! I did a quick boil of the atty, dried it out, and the flavor is back. And I cut down on the hotboxing, which seems to have helped. I did order some cartos yesterday to see how they fare against the standard eGo atty.

But so far, I'm quite pleased with the device, and hope it gives me a long run, and off the analogs.

Got mine 2 days ago. No leaks. Type A in red. Charged batteries and still using the same battery today. I am loving the battery life on this thing. The tastes of the juices are AWESOME! I am working on my 4th tank of juice with no problems! I wish I had bought this first. I have spent a small fortune on Joye 510's. I will keep them for back up in case I need them down the road, but this is my all day PV now. I got this to have for when I went out, I wouldnt have to carry so many 510 batteries and a bottle of juice. Funny how things work.

follow up lol
ok i boiled mine in vinegar, then again in clear water......blew them out really hard.......dried them and vaped.....still awesome to vape......one of them still has the taste and leak.......the other is fine.....i do use the rubber condom on one of them.....and i can see the liquid under it.....I have mine standing up all the time, should I be laying them down?? i tasted the "leak" and it is eliquid...and yes cartridge is low...... when i pull the mouthpiece out it is wet on bottom , wondering if the puncture hole is too big??? I dont think liquid coming from the top of the mouth piece just bottom where liquid bottle is..wonder if i should try to put a small pice of tape over the hole in a new cartridge , stick it back in and try that????

im gonna figure this out lol one way or another

Glad to hear people having success with the eGo-t and having insights in how to get around any minor issues - yes I decided not to get an 650mah eGo spare battery twin pack but use my 50% voucher at another vendor and thus spend £2ish more on a twin unit 900mah eGo-t starter kit. For one thing the batts turn off with the 5-click thing which is supposed to work better than button protectors on a standard eGo batt - I really want to be able to take eGo stuff out with me so that's probably worth £2. For another thing the longer battery life on these is probably worth £2...

But for a third and final thing, even though I mostly bought this kit for the batteries, I was already coming to the conclusion that, even if they have some slight issues, the 2 tank atties and 5 tank carts were also probably worth £2 to have. The latter is especially true since I'd prefer to have a couple more atties than I do now & if I was to get unlucky and run low the tank ones should tide me over.

The kit should be here early next week and whatever my initial reasons for the purchase, ya gotta know that as a vaper I'm gonna put the whole thing together & give it a vape :vapor: ;)

It's quite common for the tanks to leak. Didn't someone say about a rubber o-ring to improve the seal ?

Good that you blew out what was most likely primer and you're getting a better vape from one.

When i first filled the cartomisers i'm now using i kept getting liquid on my lips. I hated it after half a day. But i've sorted how to fill them now. You don't wanna be tasting to much of it.

I use the ego-t and also experience leaks. I guess you would call them leaks, because when i remove the tank it is usually wet and must be wiped. With that said, i have never had a tank leak so bad that the offending juice got beyond the cone. I did have one that was a little worse, but only after a few weeks of use. I'm OK with that. Has anyone had a problem with ego't tanks leaking a large amount of juice. I am curious about that.

If you have leaks, you are not doing the following:
- Make sure the cap of the tank is snapped firmly into place. Just hearing a snapping sound isn't good enough...check it.
- Make sure the tank is pushed all the way into the atty. There should be no gap between the tank and the atty.
- If your kit comes with a soft rubber mouthpiece to put over the tank mouthpiece, do not use it. It will actually wick juice from from the joint between the atty and the tank.
- Leave the PV laying flat when not in use. If you leave the PV upright, gravity will eventually pull juice down to the compartment between the atty and the battery, and you will hear a gurgling sound when you puff on it. Just take the battery off and clean up the juice right away.
- When you puff on it, and even between puffs, point the battery end of the PV toward the ground. Gravity will help feed the coil in your atty with juice. I think some people complaining about dry hits are not doing this.

Also for the Type A tanks, you can minimize leakage by replacing the bottom cap with soft silicon caps found here: https://www.cignot.com/product_p/egt-sil-cpa.htm

It occurs to me that some of you may be thinking you see fluid that has leaked, when in fact you are seeing the condensation of the vapor that didn't make the trip out the mouth piece. When you hit the switch on the battery and inhale off the mouth piece, all the space inside the atomizer and around the sides of the tank fill with vapor. Yes, this will taste like your nicquid. No, it is not going to be a problem as long as your remember to release the button on the battery before you stop inhaling. If you stop inhaling before you release the button, vapor is still produced, but you are not drawing it out, it will condense. This condensed vapor remains inside the atty and on the tank doing an impersonation of a leak. Someone call MythBusters! The Myth of the leaky eGo-T tank has been BUSTED!
