My biggest question about the Aero is if the contact pin is able to leak juice onto the battery? The head is the contact pin on PT and Evod and I'm not about to leak another drop onto my battery after switching to an rda. I'm not digging the looks of the Russian and this looks like an easy to maintain solution, provided the head is not the contact pin.

i have a protank 3 and just ordered the aerotank. Ill see how it compares. looks the same except for the drip tip and air flow contoller. I know the PT3 coils work with it and i still have a 5 pack of those. the only real difference is the chimney on the coils. I know alot of people complained that they were a PITA to get off, so I'm glad to see that Kanger is listening to it's customers.

From the reviews I have seen no chance of leakage thru the 510 bottom is sealed. Let you know for sure tomorrow when mine arrives. The aero base can also be bought on it's own and used on the pro tanks 1-2-3

Aerotank coming from DV Friday, bases can be bought from Sunvapers. Bought two and they should have shown up today, but PO sent them to wrong county. Can't wait to use them on the PT2. I use e-pipes, and always replace the tips with old vivi plastic tips or walker vape stems. The Walkers tend to put too much vacuum on a PT2, so hoping the base conversion well help, and can't wait to see how the Aerotank works. Right now my favorite mod is the Smok Pioneer, only available from MV. Great mech with magnetic switch.

Here is my new Aerotank on my Smok Pioneer. First impression? Meh. Not as much vapor as a single coil, no matter what I dial in on the airflow. Don't like the flat top, it looks kinda funny on the pipe. The Protank 2 with the aero base works much better, and really does reduce the venturi vacuum on the stem so that I can drain it to the bottom. The aero base needs to be cleaned and dried after removing the coil, making it a bit more of a hassle during refill, but not having the goo get in the battery connection is worth it.

Wow this whole dual coil trend is annoying.

It is for me.

I've tried DC in cartos and my BCC tanks. Have not found any benefit yet.

In my cartos it seems I struggle to keep the upper coil covered in juice. In my BCC tanks I just can't seem to get the throat hit right.

I have not written them off but I have lots of single coil heads for my BCCs so no real plan to play with DC heads at this point.

BTW I really like the Aerotank base on my Protank II. No leakage at the 510 connection and airflow control makes the PT II cape nicely.
