I hope someone can give me a step by step primer on use and suggestions with my new tank. I've been vaping for quite a few years now but I have kept it pretty simple.

Just bought the Kanger ProTank and some 1.8 and 2.2 ohm heads.

Also bought Vision Spinner Variable Voltage 1300 mAh eGo battery and a eGo style 1100 ma battery.

I use Tasty Vapor e-liquids at 32-36 mg (Bavarian cream so it's not starting out dark)

I need help/guidance with the following issues:

  • I'm a throat-hit junkie. On the variable voltage unit, what head should I use and at what voltage?
  • On the 1100 ma battery, again what head should I be using?
  • Also, tank came with two heads. How can I tell what ohm rating each is?

Saw previous posts about burnt taste and cleaning new tanks. Need help there too..

  • Should I be using water to clean or high proof vodka?
  • How exactly do I dry the unit out and make sure water or vodka "moves out" to allow juice in?
  • What exactly is a "dry burn" I just read that and think burnt wicks and burnt taste.

Thank you so much for any help you can offer!!

As far as what voltage to vape at that is all personal preference, start low and work your way up. The ohm ratings are written on the base of the head, however I find them to be pretty inaccurate and vary + or - .3 ohms.

I use water and then vodka to clean my tanks then let them air dry for a day or two to let the vodka evaporate. You can speed up the process with a hair dryer if desired. Dry burning is when (for the protanks) you take the top post off of the head and remove the flavor wick so the coil is exposed, you then hook it up to a battery and burn off the gunk (buildup from juices) until the wick is white and the coil glows evenly.
