New kanger subtank mini RTA issue

Ok so I got my new Kanger subtank mini today and as im doing the unboxing I noticed the rta had no cotton in the coil! I find that very odd but maybe they ship it this way? I got the tank and istick 50w new from EVCIGARETTES.COM .

Anyway I was trying to put the cotton in that they give you in the bag and wonder if there is any tricks to get it into coil?
I did the twist thing but seems like it still to think to fit into the coil. should it be using less or pull it apart some?

I have seen a lot of videos on rta rba builds and the cotton just twisted pulls right in. I can't just cut a piece and twist because its at that point still to thick.

I did just watch 2 videos and confirmed they had no cotton in the coil stock as well so looks like that's how they come.. EMPTY

But I put in the stock occ sub ohm coil for now and man what a difference from the kanger geni on the 20w.. so much better taste and flow

No but I think I fig it out. looks like if I thin the stock pad down it twist's better. I might be better off ordering new stuff online

If you're using the cotton pad that came with the subtank mini, make sure you separate it in 2 halves. You should end up with 2 of the same size pads only half the thickness of the original. Then cut your strip, twist the end and try it again. The cotton will swell when it gets wet so don't get it too tight.

Since these are considered clearomizers, sub-tanks will be moved to this forum to keep all information in one place, and not scattered amongst RTA's like the Kayfun, Taifun, etc..
