Well, I went ahead a picked one up from my local B&M mainly because I was having one of those days where nothing was working. Stuck at work with two cartos at the end of their rope.

The first test with Bobas went well at first, nice flavorful vapes but after 20 or so hits it started burning. I followed the same tricks for the protank, dry burn the wick without the flavor wicks, pre soaked one flavor wick and left the other one out. I also made sure the bottom well was full of liquid.

The second test was with Zombie Apocalypse becuase it was thinner than Bobas. Ran the same setup as before but with both flavor wicks pre soaked and installed. Same outcome, burnt flavor after 20 or so hits.

Keep in mind that I am not chain vaping those 20 hits. So far I am not impressed but like everything else, there are things we have to do and steps we have to take to make these units perform the way we want them and I am sure it has something to do with that bottom well and pressure inside the tank.

For now, it's back to my trusty IGO-W. It never lets me down and if I didn't have it for care free vapes I strongly believe I would have punched someone by now.

I picked up an MVP at my local and got one of these at the same time - I probably would have passed it up if not for getting it on the cheap due to my other purchases. I'm really glad that I decided to try it out. Generally speaking I prefer glass over polycarbonate, and in many ways it's kind of like a weird Protank/Vivi hybrid, at a glance nothing that special about it. I'm not even 100% clear on what the spring loaded plunger system does, or if it even has any real benefit.

There is, however, two tiny design details that make this tank awesome. First, when you remove the drip tip, you'll see a small machined groove for the drop tip o-ring to seat into. This means that the drip tip is really firmly attached and perfectly sealed. A tiny detail, but let's face it loose tips suck. The second detail is killer though, and also related to the drip tip interface. When you remove the drip tip on the Unitank, you will find that the little condensate collection area is conical or funnel shaped (whereas every other tank I've ever seen this is flat). This means that after a bunch of vaping, there isn't any liquid pooled here for you to suck up into your mouth. It all just flows back into the tank. Based on the way the parts fit together, it looks like this liquid gets diverted into the top section of the tank and not into the airflow/atomizer tube, which is brilliant.

So even though this isn't the best or most revolutionary tank out there, it has some pretty great little details. The system for handling condensate is fantastic and on its own makes this worth a look IMO.

Dear Kanger, please implement this on a Pyrex tank. I will buy all of them.

Also, the MVP 2.0 is great :)

I'd like to make one small correction to my initial assessment - the condensate definitely drains back down to atomizer and not the reservoir. Not a huge deal, as after several days of very hard vaping (let's just say I've cycled the puff counter on my new MVP a few times) it has yet to cause any unwanted gurgling/flooding. Still a nice design overall :)

For what I think Kanger does look into this condensation issue and solved it as much as possible, for what worth mentioning is,if you waping hard for a few days, a tank full of liquid does not last for few days right? So you have to refill the tank, the minute you take off the refill cab the spring will then push up atomizer shaft to seal off the top compartment and the bottom compartment and between the atomizer shaft is released to the bottom compartment, so the condensation remain will flow down to the bottom compartment.

So for what I've experienced is, even if I have hard waping for a week there are no gurggling issue for my side here. So thumbs-up to Kanger for this design but I do prefer the pyrex over the polycarbonate, so if there is a design from Kanger of top filling and pyrex, I definitely will get a few of them.

Agreed.... I would be very happy if Kanger would make this with pyrex. I did get some spitting and gurgling at first, but I have come to expect this with stock Kanger coil heads. I recoil them with .32 kanthal with a 6/5 coil, (comes out to 2.2 Ohms) wicked with cotton and no flavor wicking. (not needed with cotton wicking). Now it hits perfect, and the cotton wicked coils last and last. I can forgive the lack of Pyrex because of the ease in filling. Much cleaner and more convenient than having to remove it from my mod and unscrew the base.

Vape on....
