And so on the list of "the worst thing ever" doesn't that rank at #1? That was the only point I was trying to make. Maybe I'm a vocab freak, or a semantics cop, but damn, I just really get my back up when people say things lik "there's -nothing- worse than" and proceed to expound on what by comparison to real horror is a non problem.
Ok - I'll be the first to admit, I sure could be a lot less literal. I'm working on it. I haven't gotten there yet, but I'm working on it. However, anyone who is offended by the fact that I get too literal, and have to include that on my list of "there's nothing worse" has some progress of their own to make. People in glass houses, and all.
Also, for the record, the teletubbies thing at the end of the statement was my own way of trying to acknowledge that heck, maybe I took the preceding a bit too much to heart, and if so, here, let me lighten up a bit.
If I offended anyone, I apologise. Such was not the intent. A little incredulity, along with a tongue in cheek poke at my own character flaw was all I intended to convey.
