hi guys I'm new to this forum been smoking analog cigs for the past 16 years about a year or so ago I heard about vaping. got curious and bought me a ego c-twist with a bonus apple breeze flavored fluid from nicquid:laugh:. a year or so now I'm still vaping and don't smoke analog cigs no more :). been lurking at this sites learning/reading all the threads regarding vaping and it's mods. I recently upgraded my ego to a mvp version 2.0 and couldn't be happier with it :2cool:. vaping is so much better compare to smoking the real thing, I don't smell like an ashtray no more and my car is a lot cleaner now because there's no more ash inside my car . well there's my intro looking forward to reading more about vaping and mods

Welcome...new myself. Been vaping for 6/7weeks now. Loving it so far, almost to much. Keep wanting new things and new juice. But so is my personality and the world of vaping I'm coming to see. Just got my halo vv today and I'm loving it so far. Can't wait to move up into mods and DIY but for now ill be content...yeah right;-P

Hi Guys, been lurking on the ECF for a long time and now finally joined. Smoker for over 18 years, now I'm vaping and haven't looked back. Been over 3 months without a cigarette!! I have a Provari v2 with a Russian 91%. Started on an ego and stock tank. Moved on to the Kanger Mini PT2, then started rebuilding the PT2 stock coils. Got the bug a bit and started in on the Russian 91%. Now I'm doing that regularly and also dabbling in dripping a bit with my Trident v2 and Nemesis clones. I've already learned a ton from this site, but it will be fun to start participating in some of the discussions!

Alright guys got a quick question I want to post this at the mvp group thread but I can't because of my post count being low still. My question is I got my mvp Version 2 for a couple months now and yesterday I notice that when I fire my mvp it would turn green but the following fire it would turn to yellow and the third firing it would go back to green. And when I check the battery life it would read like 3.9 I vape from it and check it again it would change to 3.8 vape again and check it out would return to 3.9. Is something to be concerned about?

Wheeeeew I thought another run at the boy band era was upon us. Congratulation on your year smoke free and welcome to ECF. Coil making is easier then you think once you have some information and the proper tools for the job you'll be making them left and right. I showed my buddy how to make a coil on Friday at work, he spent the whole day Sunday making coils and testing them for Ohms and then installing and checking that they weren't shorted. Practice makes perfect and the one he showed me today looks as good as any I have made or seen. I tested his atomizer for shorts threw it on my Mech mod dropped my 510 on it and it vaped real nice. I will be showing him some wicking skills this week he used silica wick, but wants to use cotton,

when my battery is on the fence from the green to the yellow light on the VTR it will also do this here is why. when you vape it it has a certain charge that may be enough to show the green light the very next vape may be yellow because now you just hit that fence line where the yellow led is active when you let it sit a second or two and take another hit it may be back up in voltage enough to be back on green this is a normal thing as the battery voltage changes during cycle on and cycle off so what your seeing is voltage drop under a load the rebound voltage after the battery recovers.

another way to put it is to think of a battery as a spring you push the spring down it rebounds back to where it started, over time the spring doesn't come back to the exact starting point its a little less, continued pushing just causes the spring to never rebound back to the same spot as it started on the push its always a tad less each time. when we recharge its like putting in a new spring.

Thank you for responding to my question I really appreciate the time you made clearing up my question now I can vape and not worry about if my mvp is going bad

I personally think it's ok to love it. It's a lot better for me than cigarettes and the ingredients in the liquid I vape is made in the USA, not China. I get it at a shop in PA that makes it right in front of me, they have this really cool glass room so I can see the guy making it for me. There are only 4 ingredients in my liquid, nicotine, PG, VG and pure flavoring, they make it with any level of nicotine I want and will mix flavors and put extra flavor in anything I order. I am really happy with this stuff, it has kept me off cigarettes for 2 months now! I smell better, my food tastes better and I can breathe better too!

I'm with you. People keep asking me my plan to quit vaping and I don't really have a plan too. I used to love smoking and if it wasn't for the health consequences, I'd still be doing it for sure. I'm same as you--100% usp vg with organic all natural flavorings. The place I go has no pg in the nic or flavorings too, so the health risks have dropped down immensely IMHO. I enjoy it more than I ever enjoyed smoking and I've already scaled back my nic to 6mg--I just enjoy vaping. Win win.
