Hi Everyone,

I am a new KR808D-1 e-cig user looking for pre-filled cartomizers or juices that have a lower TH than that of 4mgs. I have searched online and have not found any. The TH while using the 4mgs or higher is just way too strong for me! I am very motivated to making the switch from analog to vaping permanently but just haven't found that sweet spot yet to clinch the deal. As a pack a day analog smoker of Benson Hedges Deluxe Ultra Light Menthol cigarettes, it has been next to impossible for me to find a workaround to total vaping satisfaction. Everytime I attempt to vape I end up choking out! The TH is just not working for me, no matter what flavor I try. I researched and found that the mg content in my analog is only .5mg of nicotine, that is a far cry lower than the 4mgs cartos I recently purchased. I was hoping to be one of those success stories I've been reading about here on the forum. But it seems my journey to success has turned out to be one of frustration, confusion + I'm left hanging with a cartomizer/juice collection I can't vape without coughing up a lung! I would really appreciate hearing some feedback on this issue from you veteran vapers out there. I'm open to any suggestions, please post your experience or expertise on the subject.

Thanks,

Phoenix4912

Thank you so much Sugar_and_Spice for your prompt response and good advice! I am still very new to the vaping community and am still trying to navigate my way thru the maze of e-cig products and lingo. I appreciate the tip on trying vg cartos instead of pg, I am now anxious to try them and see if they work for me. I will post an update here as soon as I have something to report. In the meantime, (I am not familiar with "Michaels") can you please post a direct link here? I want to make sure I am refered to the correct site and product?

Thanks again for your help....

Michaels is an hobbies and art store that some say carries some flavors and vg in their baking dept. Also, look at wal-mart...some say it is in the baking dept and others say it is in the pharmacy.....make sure it says usp(this means food grade) If you find some, put a little in a bottle, not much, it should be thick, then add 1 drop distilled water per 20 drops of vg....This will help thin it out a little,,,,then pop the cap off the carto and drip a little*few drop) down the inside of the carto...it will dilute the flavor slightly but will get you thru until your vg cartos arrive. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your response Swedishfish! I did try a different vendor and ended up with several bottles of 11mg juice that I cannot vape due to heavy TH. However, I am open to try the BWB malty as well. I will report my findings on it as well.

If you would pm me your address, I happen to have some bwb malty that I can pif to you....I think it is 6mg....but is smooth.
:)

I'm also an ultra light smoker (Carltons) and found the 4mg V4L carts give me a little buzz. While almost all the WOW carts choke me out with too much throat hit, the Cool Carts are definitely easier on my throat (I particularly find the 555 is mild). I got some VG and started doing the tilt/drip into the WOW carts to soften them up and some PG to dilute the nicotine in the Cool Carts.
Once you find a flavor you like, you can mix your own level of nicotine by combining zero nic flavor with the whatever level nicotine juices. An example: I got some 18 mg Perique (sp?) tobacco samples from Vaperite, I cut it 5 to one with zero nic organic tobacco and some straight PG and VG.

I can definitely relate to what you are saying about the auto vs manual batteries dormouse! I made that mistake initially when purchasing my starter kit from V4L and subsequently ended up exchanging my autos for manuals. I'm not an expert by any means, but it has been my experience thus far, that the overall performance of manuals are much better than autos. I've also bought blank cartomizers and juices from LiteCig, but the lowest (juice) strength is 11mg, which is way too strong for me. I'm still stuck with those as well. Maybe SAS suggestion to cut with vg may help save my investment on those, will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for your feedback

Wow! thank-you so much Sugar_and_Spice for clarifying where to obtain vg and how to use effectively with my existing cartos. I appreciate the BWB Malty offer but I am so new to the e-cig forum, I have yet to be cleared for PMs ~lol~ I will certainly do so after I have gotten forum clearance.

That was an extremely nice offer. BWB Malty usually sells out very quickly (I was trying to get it for a month and someone sent me a sample) so if you see it, jump on it. I would PM her as soon as you can.

The problem with diluting juice, you also dilute the flavor somewhat. But that doesn't seem like that's something that you'd mind. When you pick up the VG at Walmart or wherever you see it, also pick up a syringe. I know walmart sells a little kit in the pharmacy where they sell the VG.

According to that link my state does require an RX and I got one at walmart for about $3.00. It doesn't come with the needle, I purchased that online somewhere. I got it to clean out cartos but you can use it for measurements. Maybe it doesn't fall under the definition of syringe, I can't remember what it was called, but you can use it to measure out doses of medication for children.

Ultralight non-menthols? You might also want to try Backwoods Brew Casablanca. I used to be a Capri lights then a Capri ultralights smoker and I loved those. Then I could not longer afford them at $64/carton and had to smoke cheaper harsher lights w/ 2x the nicotine which i smoked for the last year before I started vaping. I wanted my vaping experience to be more like my old favorite Capris and after buying dozens of tobacco juices I found Backwoods Brew Casablanca and it was the one.
