I can't speak to the length or construction of cartridges made by other manufacturers. I can tell you that I have not heard any reports of these carts (or any other version of our low resistance atomizer carts) melting.

In all cases, whether you buy it from us or elsewhere, I recommend using a drip tip. Aside from its' aesthetic advantage over cartridges (my opinion), it is a much more convenient way to drip, as low resistance atomizers need to kept moist continually.
