New member, 10 months vaping :). NYC

Howdy ya'll . Like the title says, 10 months strong without a cigarette and still feel fairly new to vaping. Started with a blu, and that didn't work after 3 days so I googled and found the joye ego-T, then quickly moved to a provari mini and its been fun ever since.

These days I'm just about to receive my new Ithaca by GG, still waiting for my super T ela, and hoping to keep progressing and learning more as I go. So, I just thought I'd say a quick hello so if I make or respond to a thread, now you know a little about me.

The only disappointing area of vaping I have found is the tank quality has not yet matched up to the battery/ PV performance, and the e-juice really is a mixed bag. I've spent more money not being happy than being happy. Ill see you guys around .

New York. Just like i pictured. skyscrapers and everything. from what i remember from the 40 years i lived there., we're not happy with anything as a rule. as you barely mentioned the more important fact that you did not smoke a cig in 10 months. (Kudos For that by the way). ( i hate you for the next 8 months) i'll catch up though. i hear it's almost 12 dollars a pack. true? 7 dollars a pack where i live now, and more sin taxes on the way. i'm going to file any frustration i have with the experience in vaping to being grateful for finding the tools necessary to put those cigs down. i hope you realize what an awesome accomplishment 10 months free is. and, also hope you stay with it.

There are some great pyrex tanks out now.....The days of vaping out of plastic will be in the past for all soon.

Yeah $12 a pack. $9 out on the island with the promotion. $24 a carton from the reservation for Indian cigs. Smoking Joe's...lol

yea it was $9.50 in certain places out here in westchester last time I smoked 10.50 everywhere else...9.50 every 2days vs my now $20 every 2weeks or longer. God bless vaping lol

There's a thread where I'm getting trashed for even suggesting they were overrated. They're good but, not this mythical unicorn of vape. Plus heating oxidized metal over and over. Jury still out on that one. If it makes you happy then that's what is best for you. I just am bothered by newbs being sold this "get a genny or you're missing out.. get a provari or you're missing out..." Newbs... you really AREN'T missing out on anything... It's fine if you want to go down that road. You've been told...

You want good quality tank [cartotank], go GLASS. I like Phiniac. IBtanked is good from what I hear, but don't own yet.

What kind of juice you like... Well that's like what bottle of wine to get. Thousands of choices, price isn't always the best way to pick, some cheap are amazing, some expensive ones suck. What Flavors are you most interested in, knowing a profile, you will get better recommendations for you.

Well as far as tanks/ carto-clearo, I have tried vivi, DCT, bcc mega, kanger pro tank... You name it. All have a fatal flaw. Hopefully the new GG Ithaca RBA will be the answer.

Juices.. Well I've tried highbrow, mt. Baker, ec blends, vape dudes, and I guess there will always be trial and error. I tend to like green apple, and caramel/ syrup flavors the most from my exp thus far.

It's good to see some fellow Ny'ers, vaping seems to be catching on in NY slowly and progressively.

Welcome! Looks like all the NY vapors are gathering here hahah. I haven't seen one person vaping besides me though out and about, thought I was the only one in NY that vaped. I also started with Blu, lasted about two weeks and then I got an ego-t, and just got an eVic yesterday. For juice I like the more caramel/ sweet types also, try Mom&Pops juice, I seem to like their's a bit more than most others. I have some HeatherHeavenly stuff coming in the mail tomorrow, hopefully that would be good. I just got a few juices from Vaperite yesterday, an RY4 and a Kona Coffee...........n their coffee is the best juice i have ever smelled so far, tried vaping a little bit but I need to let it steep more. I only use clearomizers though, I dont know ive had good luck with my kanger evods and the protank, i like it better when i replace the wick with cotton, but even without they seem to work good for me. to each his own i guess.
