Hello all! I've been lurking for a few days, reading much, and have decided to join your wonderful community.

My vaping journey really began quite a while ago. I bought a green smoke starter kit about a year ago.

I actually still have and still use my green smoke e-cig, especially in places where my vape would be inconvenient (ie when paintballing). I found dead however that generally speaking, it wasn't enough to really allow me to get off the stinky by itself.

About two months ago, my wife and I moved into a new town home, and I decided enough is enough. I bought my first vape pen. An ego style battery, and a t2 tank. Within a week, I was off smokes.

There were a few times where I had a smoke or two during the weekends (my wife was still smoking at the time) but the more I vaped, the more I really hated the taste and smell of cigarettes.

I've been a good solid two months without the stinky, and I couldn't be happier.

I've got my first mod coming tomorrow, and a sub-ohm tank coming next week sometime.

Right now my primary vape is a Vamo V3 that was given to me, using either an iClear 30b or innokin gladius-m.

I certainly feel better since I quit smoking, and even my wife is vaping now as well. She's sticking with the ego style batteries and T2/T3s tanks for the time being.

Glad to be here, and I hope to learn a lot from you folks!

Welcome and congratulations on your progress. I started in a similar way and now have 3 mods with 11 tanks. And more of both to come. I really was satisfied with the ego little starter kit but I loved all the flavor so I started getting better stuff. Now I'm always searching for better stuff lol not because I need it at all. I just love it. Hi I'm Jason and I'm powerless over shiny stuff lol.

@Susan - I ordered an Innokin iTaste mvp 3.0 which I'll have tomorrow (it's actually in the mailbox for the office that I work in, but I can't get to it) and ordered an iSub tank to go with it. The tank was less than 12 bucks so I figured why not?
I'm hearing good things about that tank. If you like it and want something a bit... more shiny, they have a stainless and Pyrex version out too for a few dollars more. It looks like a solid tank, you should love it.

Well, the reason I decided to try sub-ohming is because, from what I hear, the flavor production is much better. I figured if I liked it, I'd probably pick up a kbox as a backup, and another iSub (I'll probably get the glass one the second time around) and use those two for a while and see how things go.

I've actually only purchased two ego style batteries for myself, and two for my wife,to date. Other than the iTaste, everything was given to use by one of her Co workers (including the vamo I'm currently using), which was a major score.

There are still some terms I don't know what they mean. Is there a vaping dictionary or something around that I can look things up in?? [emoji13]

It's possible to get good flavor without going subohm. But it's easier.

I like to sub ohm but it's not necessary to achieve great flavor. A Kayfun, Kanger Subtank, RDA and others can be built at 1.0Ω and higher and get awesome flavor. It really boils down to matching your equipment to your own vaping style to get the flavor or vapor production you desire. I know people say that all the time but it's because it's true
