1 PAD smoker here for 38 years. I quit smoking twice. Once for 2 years and another time for 1 year. Picked those nasty things back up both times. Yeah, I know, I'm a big dummy.

Tried using the cig-a-like Blu about a year or so ago. FAIL! Not enough vapor and taste wasn't all that great. About 6 months ago I had someone go over all of the advancements made in the past couple of years and although it sounded promising, it also sounded too complicated so I continued to smoke. Then, here recently on another forum I frequent, someone mentioned all of the benefits of vaping and I really wanted to quit the analogs so with his guidance I gave it another shot. He posts here but I forget his username. He's wickedC6 on the other forum.

Anyway, I went to my local vape shop and got what they called a Pyrex Winder (510/EGO) kit. It contained 2 900 mAh variable voltage batteries and 2 Pyrex Aro II Glassomizer tanks that I upgraded to Aspire ET-S BDC Pyrex tanks. I also picked up 2 10ml bottles of RY4. One in 18mg and one in 24mg. This worked out really well for me. I had 3 packs of smokes left when I started this and weaned myself off of them. At the end of the last pack I found myself starting to smoke the analogs like I was using my PV. Barely inhaling at all. Not only that but man! Did they ever start tasting like crap. My last analog was after lunch on May 20th.

The EGO was helping tremendously with my nicotine cravings but after reading a lot of threads on here, I wanted something with more and better performance. I really wanted a Provari but was kind of taken aback by the price. I looked at a couple of cloans and was undecided for a while. I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Provari and a Nautilus to top it off. They both arrived here yesterday. Man oh man! Why did I wait so long and why was I so hesitant to spend the money. It is probably one of the best things I could do with $200. I love this thing. The incremental voltage adjustments on the Provari and the airflow adjustment on the Nautilus made all the difference in the world for me. The flavor is so rich and the vapor is so thick. I am now enjoying vaping to its fullest.

Ok, enough about how I got here; now on to my juices question. As stated, I started with RY4. I found that the 18mg just wasn't strong enough for me and that 24mg was the way to go so I began purchasing other flavors with 24mg. Funny, but at first I didn't think I would like the different flavors but now it's all I want. I still have 3/4 bottle of 18mg and 1/4 bottle of 24mg of the RY4 that I'll probably never use again.

I went to my local vape shop and tried out a couple of flavors and decided to get Cappuccino, Mango and Raspberry. Come to find out, I hated the mango and raspberry but I absolutely loved the cappuccino. Ok, so I learned that I don't really like the fruit flavored juices so I went online and ordered Double Vanilla, Bubble Gum, Butterscotch, Cola, Kick-azz Caramel, Cotton Candy and Pina Colada. Out of those 7 I only kind of sort of liked the caramel, cotton candy and pina colada but none of them come in close to my favorite cappuccino.

So, my question is: Although I know taste is subjective, if I enjoy the cappuccino so much, what other flavors would be as satisfying? I'm hoping some other vapors really enjoy coffee flavors as much as I do and might have some suggestions for me.

Wow! Sorry for such a long winded post.

You are on the right track by separating flavors into different profiles such as fruits, bakery, candy and so on. It seems you like sweet flavors, so I would go there first. I love strawberry and cream or strawberry cheesecake, but I don't care for straight strawberry. Same with most other fruits for me. Try caramel cappuccino for instance. Cotton candy mixed with anything will make it super sweet.

Finding juice you truly like is the most difficult aspect of vaping. Find a B&M that has a sample bar, and try some flavors to further pin down what you like. Good luck, and welcome to ECF!

Yeah, I really thought that I would like the fruity flavors but didn't like the mango at all and the raspberry even less. However, the strawberry with additional flavorings sounds like I need to give those a try.

It's definitely been a lot of trial and error. I'm really happy with the cappuccino flavor but would like something else to switch it up a bit now and then trying to avoid the vape tongue.

I'll be watching this thread, I'm looking for some good coffee flavors myself!

If you haven't tried it, you may want to pick up Halo's Tribeca flavor. As a recently quit smoker, like yourself, I can honestly say quitting would have been much more difficult had I started off with any of the other flavors I've tried.

Tribeca is described as a tobacco flavor with hints of caramel and vanilla. It's those caramel/vanilla undertones that got me hooked. Seeing as you liked the other caramel flavor, this may be a fun vape for you as we'll.

Congrats on getting off those nasty analogs, vape on! :vapor:

How strong is the tobacco flavor? I found that I don't really like the tobacco flavors. I did at first because like most first timers, I thought that would give me the best shot at quitting the analogs. I still have some left but am quite sure that I'll never use it.

Congrats on getting off those nasty analogs, vape on! :vapor:
Thanks! Same to you.

Congrats on quitting and Welcome to ECF :)

I am originally from Jax and my family still lives there, there are a few really good B&M shops there with great prices. Blackhat is over by Murray Hill/Riverside and they have their own flavors as well as several other company's flavors - with a huge tasting bar. It may be best this early on to go sample a bunch and see what hits your buds in a good way :)

Congrats on making the switch!! Most of us here also began supplementing cigs with vaping and at some point realized that the cigs were tasting like POO!! ;) I second the suggestion for Halo's Tribeca. It's absolutely delicious and also happens to be Halo's #1 selling ejuice. That says a lot given that Halo was just named The Number One Ejuice Vendor in the USA!! Their Cafe Mocha and Belgium Cocoa are also both delicious. Check em out....I strongly doubt you'll be disappointed! They sell 7ml, 30ml and even have sample packs for finding your best fit! ;) Click on some and read some of the descriptions and customer reviews.

Maybe trying some more complex flavors like deadly sin from Good Life Vapor or H1N1 from Nicoticket. Deadly Sin has some hints of chocolate, graham cracker, caramel, s'mores, and Ive heard people say they get a slight coffee hint from it. It changes as your mood changes and for me personally every time I vape it I get a different taste or experience. H1N1 is another complex vapor with a verrry slight natural tobacco mixed with caramel, chocolatey, nutty undertones. It has a slight vanilla taste and also changes with your moods as well. When I started I thought I would like specific flavors like peach or strawberry but the more I got hooked into this "Hobby" I found that a mixture of complex flavors are much more satisfying. Its almost like they combine to create an even better ''superflavor'' but they can also break down into specific flavors or "feelings" at different times. Good luck and I hope you find something that will keep you off those stinky analogs forever!

Halo Torque 56 was my first jucie when I quit smoking and started vaping a month ago. After about a week it started seeming a little too tobacco tasting so I mixed some Modern Vapor Cinnamon bun in...two parts torque to one part CB. Everyone who's tried it is amazed at how good it is. No other Halo tobaccos mix well for me like that one did. Even after trying about 25 other juices...still go back to it the most.
