Hi all,

First I'd like to thank all who responded on my first thread when I was trying to determine what e-cig to get. My KGO came in today, though I'm still waiting on the resurrectors and some liquid.

Turns out a friend recently got into ecigs as well and gave me a small bottle of RY4 to try. The nicotine strength is 24mg. I went ahead and did some direct drips on the supplied KGO atomizer, and the first thing I found is that 24mg is definitely too strong for me. Fortunately I have some 18mg sample liquids on the way.

Now my questions. I've heard a lot of folks rave about RY4, but I'm just not seeing why. I'm not really getting much of a flavor from it, so I'm wondering if the higher nicotine strength is masking the flavor more? Of course, I've also only been 2 days free from analogs (gladly I have no desire to go back to them), so my taste buds are still trying to recover/heal. Also, is RY4 a reference to a general flavor that various suppliers of e-liquid produce? And if so, is there a specific vendor of RY4 that folks prefer?

Thanks again to everyone and the great feedback to date. I love this forum!

I've never tried RY4 so I have no opinion on it. When it comes to flavor it all comes down to what you like. I've tried some that my friends think are great and I can't stand them.

If the 18mg turns out to be too much for you, pick up some PG from a local CVS/Walgreens and mix a little in. It will mute the flavor some, but it will also lower the nicotine concentrate.

Every RY4 is different. They are all caramel vanilla tobacco but some are strong, some are weak, some are sweet, some ar not, some have definite tobacco flavor, some do not

Weak sounds a bit like Chinese Dekang Ry4

My fave is a sweet one - FreedomSmokeUSA oRYental 4. They also have an Ry4 that is not sweet and an RY5 I have not tried.

This one is definitely not sweet, in fact it's pretty harsh. I'm sure the nic strength has something to do with that, so I'll look at trying a sweeter one with lower nic to see how that fares.

I do have some sample liquids from Ms T's Bakery that I can't wait to try. Especially the testing area pistachio pudding. I'm a pistachio fiend!
