Hey everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a new member. I've never really been part of a forum that I actually felt like I would use so this is very interesting. I'm sort of new to PVing. I just bought a Kamry K101 Telescopic mod and so far I really enjoy it. I would however like to get some feedback on what kind of rda would be good for me? I'm looking for something that is going to give a good amount of vapor with great flavor. I'm pretty sure that that partially has to do with the kind of e-liquid I use. Like I said, I'm pretty new to this and its something that I'd like to get more serious about because I really enjoy doing it.

I have tried some friend's PVs and, since getting mine, I notice that there's not as much vapor as theirs? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong as far as hitting it or what. But.. ultimately my question is about a good rda for my Kamry K101 telescopic mod.

Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Assuming you have a Kanger clearo on it at the moment you could practice rebuilding kanger coils, that's how most start their journey onto rebuildables. Alternatively, the IGO-M RDA is probably the easiest RDA for newbies learning to build on.

Once you've learnt to build, the stillare is fantastic for both flavour and vapour, the magma is brilliant aswell, From my trial and error so far these are my 2 favourite RDA's.

WARNING: Once you venture into RDA's/RBA's, you will be chasing the dragon for the forseeable future, NO TURNING BACK so choose your next move wisely ;)

Heylo and welcome! This is a pretty common question and I highly recommend you do some research before you go through with this purchase. There is a lot of battery safety and general safety education you need to familiarize yourself with first. Please do some research!!!! Be safe. Okay, now the safety soapbox is over...

On top of the safety, research on building coils. The effects of different kanthal gauges, number of wraps, and the size of your wrapping post.

Generally, the lower the resistance your RDA build is, the more vapor you will produce. However, the lower resistance you go, the more prone to battery failure. That's why along with this RDA purchase, you should also buy better batteries (Sony VCT4 or VCT5), an ohm reader, and a good battery charger. At minimum. Also, more VG in your juice will produce a thicker vapor.

A good starter RDA is The Patriot RDA or any sort of clone of that. That's what I started on and it was great, it's not crazy conductive like some of these new RDA's, has easily accessible posts, and a semi-deep well for juice.

This is a cool crafty side of vaping that provides a lot of gratification but there is much education to be done!

Greetings, New Comrade. Welcome to the forum!

:)

I'm afraid I don't know a thing about the Kamry, but I recommend the IGO-L as a first RDA to pretty much everybody.

Here's one for ten bucks: IGO-L Dripper Atomizer

It's cheap, works very well, and is ridiculously easy to build. I have lots of drippers now, some fairly expensive, and these little guys are still among my favorites.

Hi I don't know about your mod but I do know kayfun lite is a Excellent choice for a rba and here's why, the kayfun build is easy for new comers and kayfun gives a exceptional flavor and thick dense vapor. It does not leak, gurgle, or dry hit. When I vape with my kayfun it's like eating a candy, it's that good! You will not go wrong with the kayfun and it won't disapoint. Warning once you taste your rba, there's no turning back! It's light a night and day difference!

Yeha you cant go wrong with any of the IGO's IE Igo-L Igo-w etc. They are all really good and a cheap way to get your feet wet.

After that I hear the magma is really good but I use my Igo-w4 and my TOBH Atty. The TOBH is my fav tons of flavor and vapor.

But yes be careful with the mods and the journey once you start down this road you wont turn back.

I have definitely heard really good things about IGOs just from looking around the forums the last few hours. About, basically everything you are all telling me.. cost effective and good for beginners which is really what I'm looking for to start.

I haven't heard of the magma until now, but I will also look into that and get some more information.
Thank you all for the advice so far!

And I definitely know that this is something that gets very addicting as a hobby and and an enthusiasm. I have friends from high school that I follow on Instagram who do nothing but post pictures of their mods and themselves vapeing (vaping? correct spelling occasionally eludes me lol). Its been something that I've wanted to get into for a while now because I'm trying to.. well.. not STOP smoking I guess but smoke in a way that's a bit less... makes me smell like an ashtray. Plus, when I vape, I can smoke in the house :p But its definitely something I'm prepared to pursue and learn about.
I always like learning new things. ^^

But again, thanks already for all of your awesome information. I guess I have some more research to do on a few things before I make my final purchase.

IGO, Stillare, Atomic, Patriot, Magma, Zenith...You will be happy with any one of these. They are all good, each with their own pros n cons, and will produce oustanding flavor and vapor compared to a clearo.

IGO is cheapest but you'll want to drill open the airholes and probably has the lowest flavor of the bunch. Stillare is tons of vapor, Magma is tons of flavor. Patriot is solid but lacks afc. Zenith requires allen wrench.

The big question I think is batteries. You don't have to sub-ohm on a mech, but you will :) So get the Sony VTC5's and you are set.
