Short story

Blu, eGo, SS telescope, 24/26mg, last cig 10/21/2012 @ 11PM

Long Story

Tried Blu for a bit and it got me down to 1/2 pack/day one day, but the only thing I could do was mostly concentrate on concentrating, so the cig use started creeping back up. Wanted to keep at it so I found a shop close to home that had some vaping gear, bought a 900 and 650, charger, 2 clearomizers and some juice, that was 10/20 @ 8PM. 10/21 only had 8, noticing that the times I did have 1 it didn't do anything for me and 11PM was the last one I had before bed. 10/22 got up started vaping and didn't really feel the need for cigs for about 2 days. Next couple of days felt the need, but just vaped a little extra and wasn't much of a problem. After doing some research and going back to the shop with questions he said he didn't really know that much technically about the products which was kind of disappointing.

Wanting to know more I searched for another shop and found one close to work, kiosk in a mall, small stock, but very knowledgeable. Bought 2 2.5ml tanks (carto, Vivi) to see the difference and preferred the Vivi, went back and bought 2 of the larger Vivis. Chatted awhile and he let me try his GGST/AC9, and my new Vivi on a SS telescope compared to the eGo, as well as the AC9 on the telescope. Bought the telescope, an 18500 battery/charger (got a free 10ml bottle of juice) and went to the car with thoughts of vaping on my way home. Tried it in the car and it didn't work, went back in, he tried it and it didn't work either. Same battery that had worked before I bought it (guess I sucked the last charge out of it), he exchanged it for an 18650 no extra charge. Got it in the car and it worked like a dream ever since.

In the end I bought a little more equipment than I needed, but I have extra batteries when needed, need something smaller, battery drains or can pass to friends who are thinking about quitting tobacco and try vaping.

Next

Looking at rebuildable atomizers, but they seem to have problems with laying sideways which is the way I usually have mine down or in my jacket pocket which sometimes gets upside down. I'm looking into the Kayfun or just putting SS mesh wicks in a rebuildable clearomizer. Any info on this would be great.

Love this site, except for that crash last night which happened as I tried to submit this :).

It was Ploomz in Cary Towne Center.

Keepers so far: Mad 4, Grandpas Mix, Mocha and Desert Ship.

Tried a Mint, Menthol and Turkish Blend: they weren't bad, just not what I'm looking for.

Cuban Cigar seemed like smoking formaldehyde.

I keep hearing good things about that place. I'll have to check it out sometime.

I had the same results in the beginning . I started with the 901 kit (because I didn't know any better) Took me from 4 packs of cigs a day to 1 pack. The went with an Ego system , but still was smoking 1/2 to 3/4 of a pack a day. The I went to an adjustable VV Battery that went from 3.0 - 6.0 volt and starting using Clearomizers . That did the trick. Because I was able to dial in my vapor . Now I smoke 3 cigs a day and I am happy with that . 1 with coffee in the morning 1 after lunch and 1 after dinner . the rest of the time I love my vapor

Welcome to the forums. Now I am envious. I don't seem to have a place near or willing to travel to try out equipment. I just did research
on the internet. You have it made. It's good you have a place you can try.

Hatin it for ya'.

This place just opened up recently and is ~25m from work and ~40m from the house.

Have you looked here?
