Hello,
I have been reading this forum for a little over a week, and just registered. I wish I had visited here before my first e cig purchase two weeks ago. I bought Blu Cigs, and they are so inconsistent. Despite their poor performance, I have been off analogs for 10 days with alot of will power and reading info on this site.

I just placed my order today, based on reading the member posts, for a Joye Ego tank. I am so excited to receive it, but have to deal with Blu until it arrives.

Again, great site with tons of info!

Hello WalkeHound.... glad to have you. Sounds like you been doing your homework. I had Blu's (still in my drawer) but only used them long enuff to find and receive another pv---the Riva510.
So tell us who you ordered from and what type of juices did you order.
BTW If you have leftover carts from blu.....the atty will screw onto the eGo and you can finish them up without ditching them. well, if you want to that is.
:)

SAS,

The lovely state of Oregon has banned the sale of E cigs, so I had to order out of state. I went with a vendor listed on this site, that had good reviews and was semi-close to me. I chose ElectroNicStiks in Ogden, Utah.

As far as juices, I went with their U.S. made "Boss" Brand, it's 50/50 VG PG. I am trying Vanilla, Cappucino, and Cherry at 18 mg.

Ditching the Blu, I think they will be left in a drawer as a memory for being a catalyst in my quitting analogs, despite the problems I'm having with them.

I'm a new member from Oregon as well so I thought a good place for a first post. Oregonians unite! This is an awesome forum and have learned a lot here. I've been experimenting with different brands and have yet to break the analog habit. Both brands, ProSmoke and Vapor 4 Life have been good, and leaning toward V4L at this point. I think my problem so far is the strength. Think I need to up the mg dose, so have ordered some 24s from both. Also have a pass-thru from V4L that I adore due to the vapor volume. I will find the answers and sure you will too.

I have heard of ElectroNicStiks but personally have never used them. As long as you are happy that is all that matters. Yeah, the blu's are an ok starting point.....it got both of us off analogs, so not all is bad....lol

Hi Bozotic,

Welcome

It's tough being in a state where we can't go and test the product firsthand due to politics. I know you can put those analogs away, I can't believe 25 years could be broken so quickly.

BTW, who are you buying from?

Walkerhound,
I'm checking out two brands, ProSmoke and Vapor 4 Life. I like them both so far, leaning toward V4L due to a little more vapor and flavor. I like vapor.

Im east of Roseburg, towards crater lake in the middle of nowhere. I am about 3 and half hours from Medford. Every smoke shop I called in Eugene, Corvallis, Sweet Home, Grants Pass, and Woodburn told me no. Thanks for the info, might be worth the drive down south. I should have considered Medford in my search, but thanks a bunch for the info.

Hey WalkerHound, I'm in Portland and relatively new here also - welcome! A great and helpful bunch of folks! E-cigs aren't banned, only one company was banned from selling here due to the wording of their advertising, which implied that they're a smoking cessation tool. I still order online cuz it's cheaper and the variety is amazing. I started with Greensmoke, lasted a month with constant battery issues and fell back into cigs for a while. Then I got a nice tax refund and used a bit of it to buy GG products (one of the vendors who has a presence on this site) and haven't looked back. They're not cheap, but I'm satisfied and have been analog-free since 2/23/11 and have already broken even considering how much as I'd have spent on my Camel Wides since then. As for health - you can't put a price on that. I also smell better, I feel WAY better and my wife says I taste like berries instead of nasty cig breath :)

Welcome and enjoy learning! It can all be overwhelming, but take it a little at a time and don't be afraid to ask questions or search the forums since someone else has likely asked the same things before. I also like to just browse old threads to learn neat tricks and find new flavors and combos to try . . .

The ease is the genius of this......We really are not giving anything up....except the 4000 chemicals the tobacco companies put in tobacco products. And an unintentional benefit for some is that they lose weight because of food flavors...satisifyes the sweet tooth....:)

Hey guys. Welcome...the pro smokes are ok if you want a 'mini same size as a real cig' unit, but you'll get better vapor, longer battery life, and more juice capacity from the v4l, 808 styles. V4l carries a nice selection of flavors also, and the 808s are compatable with cartos and things that other 808 vendors offer.
Happy vaping.

Thanks for all the replies, and the education on the legal status here in Oregon. That's another bonus of this site is that I was given misinformation from smoke shops here in Oregon. My fault I didn't investigate deeper, but the members here are on top of things. At any rate, I have learned a bunch here already, and glad to keep learning more.

I'll post my opinions when my Ego-T arrives next week.

Thanks again
