New member to the forums, have been vaping for about half a year now and have decided to step it up from the ego battery to a mod and rebuildable dripper.

I received the chi you mechanical mod along with a tobh rebuildable atomizer and also got the rather inexpensive smoktech caterpillar rda.

Neither of them will screw down flush on my chi you -_-

also tried using an aspire nautilus aswell as an iclear30. no such luck.

anyone ever have a similar problem with 510 threads? The rdas start to screw down fine then simply refuse to screw down any further.
I have tried adjusting the center pin and cant think of anything else that could possibly solve this problem and I do not want to strip the threading.:confused:

Unlikely that all your attys are oversize, so... sounds like an issue with the ChiYou top cap, having not been threaded correctly - either incomplete, or due to the wear and tear associated with production tooling used just a little to often - undersize.
The thread is M7X0.5mm... if you can borrow/buy a tap, you can correct/complete the process.

So my best bet is to try and find a M7x0.5mm tap then most likely.

I've had to physically sand down toppers to make them fit flush on some mods. It's usually not a big deal, pull the center 510 pin and insulator and then rub it on a piece of sand paper, and stop to check fit occassionally. Once it fits nice, pop the insulator and the 510 pin back in, no problem. Just throwing it out there as an option in case the tap doesn't fix it, as some mods just have a very shallow 510 connection, in my experience.
