Hello all,

This is my 4th week vaping. I initially bought a Mistic at a shop without knowing the depth of the vaping technology. It lasted me a week. Not to fault it too much, it did it's job- got me down to 3-4 analogues a day, but it tasted like air freshener- in a bad way. Next was a Joyetech 510, with all the bells and whistles, cartridges, tanks, tank atty, several flavors e-juice. At first I was really excited, and I went two weeks with it smoking 2-3 analogues a day. The problems with it? Not many, some muted flavor in the tanks, darkening e-juice in the tanks frightening me initially. I quickly discovered the joys of dripping, and after about a week of mostly dripping discovered the drawbacks of it- too many steps too often. Just got a Smoktech Bolt with DCT from madvapes.com. I'm happier, though I am still hovering at 2 analogues a day. I think it is the "other" stuff in the tobacco that I am craving. The Bolt is definitely a step up from the 510, though the little 510 has many portability/acceptability advantages over the big Bolt. So, I think I discovered why other people have bought so many things, at least on the utility end, this has been quite a learning experience. I could also see from here *wanting* things I do not need- nice designer APVs, tons of juices, etc. No wonder some of these PV collections look like trophy cases and/or Star Wars Jawa caches.

Anyways, hello out there. More newbie questions follow from me.

cheers!

Hang in there. Sounds like you're doing fine. Stay committed to getting off the cigs and play some with your new hobby - vaping turns into a hobby for many. Your PV is fine. Experiment with more juices and with some juice delivery systems. You'll ultimately settle on a setup and a few juices you like that will get you the satisfaction you need to finally drop those last few daily cigs. Look at it this way, you now only smoke 2-3 a day, big improvement.

Hello Beowulf.

I sort of had a similar experience than you although I am proud to say I didn't smoke those 2-3 analogs a day during the 1st 3-4 weeks I quit after starting vaping. Instead I gutted it out 2-3 times a day hoping that feeling would eventually stop creeping up on me. After the 4th week went by and I was still getting a STRONG urge to fire one up, OR kill somebody, a few times a day I did something smart. I had read about WTA here in this forum a few times and I got a hold of Aroma Ejuice and I ordered 3 10 Ml. bottles of 26 Mg juice with WTA in it.

That WORKED like a charm and I used that ONLY when I was REALLY wanting an analog. Before I knew it those urges disappeared and I have since ran out of that juice and now I feel as though I know longer need it.

I can't say for sure the actual WTA did the trick or just jumping up to 26 Mg was the trick BUT it worked and those cravings are now gone and I didn't even kill anyone yet so if you want to give it a try here's where I got that stuff from- Aroma Ejuice Manufacturer of WTA Whole Tobacco Alkaloid Eliquid

I had a coworker who used a menthol mystic. I tried it and was very pleased with it compared to my brands menthol. I actually vape a unusual flavor now instead of using any of the menthols they have at Halo. I am curious was it the menthol or full flavor mystic? Did it quit working or did you just want something new due to the awful taste?

I also have been vaping for a month. I was smoking 2-3 analogs a day from 2 packs of Newport a day. I was thrilled and so was my family. Got a VV for home use 2 weeks in and have not picked up an analog since. I use the VV for those hard times where the cravings are really bad and it works like a charm. Hang in there, it is a great feeling when you finally stop analogs all together, you will get there.

To Bluesun,

It was a full flavor Mistic. Looking back (as if it was that long ago) I think the cartridge filling was slowly burning on some carts, which turned me off, obviously. I wonder if the Mistic parts will work on my 510? I might just charge it up and vape off the remaining carts. I can't seem to give the thing away to any friends, perhaps because they see the 510 setup I have and the Bolt with the big DCT and think the Mistic is junk. I might fiddle with it, or try a 510 atty on it. I guess I need to do some research before burning up any batteries or anything.
